Hello, I am planning a trip to the Outer Banks & Myrtle Beach in Late October.....I just thought I would check with locals for recomendations on any MUST DO caches in either location...I will be traveling from WV so any help would be appreciated.....

Keystone, I'm willing to put jeeps togather and distribute them in WV... Justlet me know....

Does anyone in or around the RI, Mass line know of the cacher that goes by JMRobson??? Who ever this is has hada travel bug of mine held captive since 9 of 2003.I have emailed this person many times and have gotten no response. Just thought I would try this way to see if I might get the bug back. Thanks!!!!!!

I second what instepguy says....There are 6 or 7 caches in the park alone all of varying degrees of dificulty....

Congrats !!!!!!! Now I guess you can get back on your pace of finding the most in WV now that you have Mrs. DX hooked on caching too......HA HA !!!!!!!! Keep on Caching.......

I am traveling to the Washinton DC area this weekend and will be in the area all next week. Does any one have any suggestion for caches in the DC area or Northern Va??? I will be staying with relatives in the Arlington area..Also how about any near I 81 or I 66 going towards DC?

Just to let everyone know I got my stickers Monday. Also there was a letter with them stating that they would send out new stickers on the anniversary next year but there was a line in the letter stating that the cache would have to be moved..I hope we can get this cleared up with the folks in the office...When I talked to the lady (I think her name was Kim) she said that they wouldn't have to be moved just maintained!!!!!!!!

Here is my story.... IWILLFIND posted a note for Just Clowning Around ! (Traditional Cache) I just have to tell a funny story that happened to me today!!!!!! I was going to this cache to grab the travel bugs and move them south on an upcoming vacation...Got to the area where the park folks had done some work with a bulldozer and was just walking along minding my own bussiness when all of a sudden I came upon a guy and girl in the woods with the girl laying on her back smacking the guy saying get up someones coming!!!! Needless to say they were wearing nothing but smiles and red faces from embarrassment...The guy stood up and started grabbing for cloths just leaving the girl sitting there. He was in such a hurry that he even tried to put her bra on himself.I don't know how I kept a straight face but I walked on down into the woods and while they were scrambeling for their cloths I proceeded to look for the cache...I wish I could have gotten to the cache without them seeing me because I would have gotten the camera from the cache and taken some pics...Boy wouldn't the cache owner have been in for a surprise then???Any way they got their cloths on and high tailed it out of there and after they were gone I just sat down on a log and had myself a good laugh!!!! It truly was a comedy. The look on the girls face was priceless!!!Her eyes were as big as saucers bugging out and her face just had one of those OH SH*T looks!!!!!!!I was so bumfuzzled and laughing so hard at what I had just saw that I never did make it to the cache!!!! Just had to share this it is too good of a story to keep!!!You just never know what you'll run into in the woods.....

I'm up for another get togathfr but the only day poaaszble for me in may is the 2nd.. From 3-14 too 4-10 I am off on Saturdays and the only one that is tied up is the 10th. I will be leaving that day for a caching trip to Washington DC...I will be off on sundys from 4-10 to 5-2 again the only on tied up would be 4-11...Keep me up to date on the plans ....If I can make it I will....

Does anyone know how long it will take to get the stickers from the state????? I have 2 caches in Pipestem and sent the paper work in the day that the site was put up with the instructions and I have not heard anything from them yet......

I am wondering how hard it would be for the folks at Geocaching to create a search were you could find cache listings along the major interstates???? This would make it easy for a cacher to plan stops along the way while traveling....Like right now I am planning a trip this weekend along Interstates 77, 64 and 81 and would like to be able to find some quick caches at rest areas or stops close to the interstate just to stretch the legs....

I have already turned my forms into the parks folks and spoke with Kim by phone...She informed me that the turn around on getting the stickers for the caches should be less than a week.... thanks to those who worked with her on this policy...i think it is Fair for all involved...She also told me that the caches WOULD NOT have to be MOVED each year..... The folks at the parks office are just wanting to make sure that the caches are being maintained.....

I have an HP5555 that I got for Christmas and would like to know how to download cache pages into it.....Can anyone give me tips? And what is GPXsonar that you folks above are talking about and where do i find it?

I'M in WV ....... What needs to be done? As for an organized group here in WV I know of NONE. We have had a couple get togathers but that is about it...As of this time I know of no other outing planed...But if this is something I can do as an individual I'll see what I can do....
