  1. Caching finds have been great recently! I released a Look Twice for bikes coin: Then it turned into a Vegas Gamblers Top 40 coin, but I didn't get a picture of that one. That got swapped for a Coast Guard coin, so appropriate for the Memorial Day weekend. Then that swapped out for a Night Caching coin There was also a motorcycle TB that made me think of the Todie's Wild Ride thread. Glad to see so many coins in the caches I have been to!

  4. I got my flower mission today and I am so excited to share with everyone!! First off, last mission (sunshine) I sent to PV=nRT. So I was very tickled to see a package from the name and address that I recognized. I couldn't wait to open it. Inside, such wonderful and thoughtful items! A nice daffodil and cat card, with OMG ... a blue on silver Neptunes Compass! Really cute bottlecap magnets, handmade of my very own avatar symbol as well as the GC logo. A beautiful daffodil suncatcher stained glass suncatcher, and sweet words telling her love of daffodils. I never thought I would get a Neptune's Compass! Pretty! Cool! Thanks PV=nRT, this was a great package!

  7. I like the 2-3 cache idea, then I have coins in different places to track. But if they start in the same place, I guess it is more of a race for them. Really, either way is fine with me.
  8. Two nights ago, I dreamed about looking for and finding an egg. Last night I dreamed of a suncatcher coin and that other nasty coin . I'm not sure if I am addicted to geocoins, but I think I might be spending too much time in the forums!!
  9. They each received a special geocoin in the mail.

  18. I just received (bought) a Look Twice coin to put into this thread (is it a race?) But with so many posts, I can't find the one(s) that tell me the rules and what needs done. Can someone remind me or point me to the post number? Thanks! --- Wear your helmet! ----
  19. Team Haynes, yours is a very inspirational story, I can imagine that your students have benefitted much from your experiences. Thanks for sharing with us too. My story is more simple and cheesy My parents were both teachers, my Mom taught elementary and my Dad taught high school math. So to me, they taught me everything I needed to know, both in life and in school. When I was very young, mom taught me how to read and whatnot before I ever went to school, and I loved to read. When I was a little older, I remember doing mental math puzzles in the car with my dad, we didn't call it algebra, it was just a fun little game. When I was in high school, I actually had my dad as a teacher for computer science class. I enjoyed his teaching style, even if I had to work extra hard to impress the teacher! In life, I became a software developer because of the influence of my dad.
  20. A chicken walks into a bar and says ... ouch (Baaak). (sorry, couldn't help it)
  21. They are all good ideas and well executed. I think if I'm going to look at it a lot, #7 is most visually appealing to me. My second vote is for #2. Thanks!
  22. Wow, I want one of those. I have recently started to desire those suncatchers!!
