  7. My guess is Nov. 14, 2006 15:36 PDT
  8. Thanks for the imput! It is going to be my personal coin so I think I'll try and add my name in there somewhere. That was my first draw up so I'll tweak it a little more and see what I come up with. I think I'll be minting maybe 200ish. For those who have made coins, whats the usual mint time from start to finish? I'll keep you posted!
  9. I just drew up a rough draft for a coin I'm thinking of having designed. I need some imput from people on what you think of it. Thanks for your imput!
  10. I was thinking of having some coins minted up, but am wondering what the average price per coin is. For those that have had coins minted by various companys, what has been your experiance?
  11. 감사합니다!! Ah.... Thanks!
  12. Wow, leave the forums for a little while and everything changes..... Anyways, I have been busy with my wedding so haven't been to the website in a while, and I found the new (sort of) bookmark feature. Well, I created my first bookmark, changed the name a couple of times, and all was good. Well, at least I thought. Now on all the cache pages I have bookmarked, it lists my bookmark on the page twice, and I can't figure out how to change it. Anyone can help? Oh, here is an example of what I mean: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...9d-8072c347d1c6
  13. That deffinattly looks like one of FunkyMonkey's sig items from my old hometown.Try sendong him an e-mail and find out
  14. Before I joined the Army, back in Ohio we had the usual woodland caches and what not, but also a LOT of cemetary caches. Since then and moving to the Monterey area of Cali, puzzle caches seam to be the name of the game. Especially by a specific local cacher of fame, Touchstone.
  15. Sounds to me like at first the cache owner went a bit too far just for the sake of cache reputation, but to delete it again almost sounds like person vendetta.
  16. A while back there was a link to a program that exported GPX files (I think) to a maplet that could be red by mapopolis. I can't seam to find it now, anyone know where I can?
  17. Well, I just went through MEPS last Thursday, and I ship out on March 1st for Ft. Leonard Wood for basic. After basic, I'm going to DLIFLC (The Defense Language Institute, Foreign Language Center) which is located on the Presidio of Monterey, in Monterey CA for a year.
  18. I dropped a note on the NEOGEO board. I registered there some time last year but never really read up on that board.
  19. I will be leaving for Army Basic training on March 1st. Naturally, I won't be around any more to maintain my caches. However, I want them to live on and find someone to adopt them. First, should I find one person to maintain all of them or find seperate people to maintain individual caches( I have 10 of them and the farthest distance between two of them is ~ 15 miles). Second, should I keep them under my account or should I send an e-mail to my local approver (which happens to be Keystone Approver) and have him switch the caches to the person/people who are going to be maintaining them for me. And lastly, while I'll probelly be posting this in my regional board also, are there any volunteers on the West side of Cleveland who would like to adopt them? Thanks!
  20. I'd say I'm mostly #1, but I drop a line here and there
  21. After doing a lot of cemetary caches over the past few weeks (heck, it seams like almost every other one is) I've come to the conclution that there are two main types of cemetary caches. First type is bring you to a historical/intresting cemetary and gives you some back ground info on the area and is well done and respectful. The other type, is a placed just for the sack of placing it and has no connection to the cemetary other then just being there. This type I find disprespectful and I don't care for. This is a example of the first kind GCKWNV and here is an example of the second kind GCM0CT. The second one dosn't even make mention that it is place in a cemetary, let alone offer any historic info.
  22. We've had several approved over the past couple of months. GCM7P8 12/6/2004 GCM6MQ 12/2/2004
