  1. Hello out there, I am looking for a fellow cacher to log the cache "Where's in A Name". The idea is to transform the user ID into a coordinate and then find a fellow near the cordinate to snap a picture of his gps with this coordinate on. My ID Kikifatz transforms to N 54.54.3289. If someone lives near that one and is interested to join in this little challenge, please send me an Email - we can both log it, by the way. Regards, kikifatz
  2. I could caress one in Germany (Across the pond) last week. It was sooooo cute" regards kikifatz

  4. Hello, I am looking for a fellow cacher to log the cache "Where's in A Name". The idea is to transform the user ID into a coordinate and then find a fellow near the cordinate to snap a picture of his gps with this coordinate on. My ID Kikifatz transforms to 54.54.3289. I chose the northern hemisphere, and that means I have to find a fellow in Canada near N 54 deg., for example near Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Prince Rupert, Prince George. If you are interested to join in this little challenge, please send me an Email - we can both log it, by the way. Kikifatz
  5. Thank you so far, the BT-side is a good start; the site kitty hawk suggested seems to be good for finding school mates, and only if you expect anyone - might - one day - by chance - when the sun sets in the east - look out for you. Regards kikifatz
  6. People armed with GPS receivers seem to have the basic "looking for" instinct. Right, I could be mad or his ex wife or want money for me and his 7 children. Or be his old pen friend from youth days. Which I am. Regards, kikifatz

  10. Hello from Germany, I own a Sportrak too, bought in October 2003 from a dealer who sold it as a "demonstration" unit for 30 % less. Have been using it only 4 times untill now. D/C code is 39/02. Yes, I can see very tiny little cracks developing at the two middle screws in the direction of the screws' length. Would not have noticed them if I hadn't read this posting, but I will keep an eye on them now. Kikifatz
