  9. After several very helpful emails, I have decided to split my coins into sections and sell some here and try some others on eBay. I will post my first wave shortly. The prices are all negotiable. IF you see something you like send me an email. Thanks.
  10. I intend to do just that! After several emails I have decided to post to this thread my list of coins in the next couple days. I will consider all offers. I still struggle with selling some of them as it took quite a while to collect the series, Deadliest Cache and Musketeer for instance. Therefore, I am contemplating selling these as a set, not individually. Or will people not be interested in sets? Probably just looking for that last harder-to-find coin to complete the set...I guess we'll see how it goes. I agree that eBay could garner more money; however, I would rather sell to someone who is going to appreciate rather than turn around and try to make a profit off of them. Besides, I don't like 'reserve' auctions Thanks. Joe
  11. I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I'm going to ask it again anyway. I do not want to do this but I am at a point where I really do not have a choice. My wife got laid off a couple months ago, sort of. She works a week and has a week off and unemployment just isn't cutting it. I thought I could avoid selling off my coins; however, the future at her job doesn't look very rosy. My question is do I sell the coins in this forum; individually or in groups, or do I take my chances on eBay. I guess my problem is I really do not know the value of some of the coins. Sure, some of the coins, ET's, Deadliest Cache, Tranquility, DaVinci, I have a pretty good idea. It's all of the other one's I am unsure of and I do not want to get taken just because I am in dire need of funds right now. I am going to be getting a list together over the next few days of the coins I am selling, approximately 100 coins, and will more than likely be posting more info/questions soon. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. email me here with requests and offers jrrj@iw.net
  12. It happens every time I try to upload to my gpsr. I think I figured out the out of memory error; GSAK was transferring too many geocaches I believe; over 1,000 in total. That still doesn't explain my root problem. If I set GSAK to only transfer 200 waypoints it will still only transfer 20 or so. Let's throw another cog in this issue: I am able to transfer 20 to 25 geocaches from GSAK to my gpsr at a time. I have a little over 100 on there now; however, when I look under FIND--GEOCACHES on my gpsr it only lists 20 or so. If I go to the map view they are all there!! This is the first issue I've had with my Garmin so I'm a little confused as to what's going on.
  13. I have no waypoints or geocaches on my gpsr. That is what confuses me. There should be plenty of room to put them in. I set it up in GSAK to only upload 200 waypoints. It only transferred 25 or so after saying everything was complete. What am I missing here??
  14. I have no waypoints or geocaches on my gpsr. That is what confuses me. There should be plenty of room to put them in. I set it up in GSAK to only upload 200 waypoints. It only transferred 25 or so after saying everything was complete. What am I missing here??
  15. I have a Garmin gpsmap 60csx. I've been geocaching with it for about a year with no problems. I am using gsak to transfer .gpx files to the gpsr. Today, I tried to upload some new geocaches and received an 'out of memory' message on my gpsr. I checked and I am only 1% full on my sd card. I tried deleting all geocaches and waypoints off of my gpsr but am still only able to upload 25 or so coordinates. What's going on here? am I missing something? My software version is 3.70 and my gps sw version is 3.00. The memory check states the following: 1% full, (maps 1.68 mb), tracks (0), Miscellaneous space (.02 mb), free space (119.45 mb), total used (1.70 mb). Is this just the memory card or total memory? How do you check the internal memory? Thanks for any help you can provide.

  18. I have an IPAQ H2200 I plan on resurrecting, may need a new battery since it's been in a drawer for a couple years. I don't suppose you, or anyone else for that matter can email, jrrj@iw.net, me directions on how to utilize it for paperless geocaching? What software do I need? Will it work with Vista? As I don't have the install CD, is it available online? Sorry for the questions, but I haven't had a lot of time to research this yet. Thanks.
  19. I have received 5 of 9 coins so far. Only 4 to go (3 from Drjeepstr and 1 from li-z).
  20. forgive my ignorance, but can you explain to me how you code this? do you use GSAK to do this? thanks.
