Wow - an ethical dilema involving an attorney who has been preaching "following the rules!" On the one hand, if he puts it out - he's possibly aiding and abetting a potential felon by allowing Tag to be kidnapped once again. On the other hand if he does not put Tag out, he clearly violates this rule (from Tag's description): "Holding this cache for over three days is a direct violation of the CVC Tag rules and punishable by Group installed Tar and Feathers!" What will our attorney do? Anyone want to start some odds here? I lay odds that he plays nicely and places it soon...It will be up to someone who has devious thoughts to grab CVC after Ted places it and hold onto it for awhile....Kenny?? Hey now I don't hang onto TAG for devious reasons.... I hang onto him becasue life keeps getting in the way of Caching!!! tell you I jsut need to find out how to getpaid for geocaching!!!!!!!! LOL! No, but you DO have a devious mind...So you could just "care for" Tag while Laura leaves and Pat comes to visit!

Great idea! Maybe you could pop up to Stockton to keep Tag out of the hands of the world traveler. BOGA can't do it since he sold all of his GPSrs to get attorney fees. Well, we thought about it but we are waiting for Ted or the nascarfamily to grab it...Ted hasn't had it in a long time and nascarfamily has never found it, so we thought we would let some others play with Tag for a bit. (Or maybe one of the newbies will grab it!!) Perhaps if Tag has not been found by the weekend we may head up to attempt to find him! Got him! Congrats Ted...You need to hold on to Tag until after Laura and clan leave for the UK. One more thing Ted...You may also want to figure out when Pat is coming...If he gets a hold of Tag, then it may be a VERY long time before we see it again!!

There are several "newbie" hides popping-up in our region lately...It may be time for me to dust off the GPS!

Is that the tar I smell heating up again?!?! I can say in complete honesty that WE DID NOT TAKE TAG TO STOCKTON FOR "that Stockton lady" to pick up. As a matter of fact we drove around for quite some time looking for a specific "LAW OFFICE" only to find the brass name plate had been recently changed (at least it looked a lot shinier than the other one). If she does happen to come upon it though, at least we made an honest attempt at getting it back in play up North. So enough with the tar and feathes, My scalp is still peeling from the unpleasantness at Micki Grove Park! COUGH, COUGH...CHOKE, CHOKE...Even with the rainy season over it still seems to be getting a bit deep!

I thought we were going to keep this info under our hats..........some of the guys are getting CRANKY!! hmmm...If you DO place him in Yorkshire County, make sure that you leave them long enough for other cachers to grab! I have an office in Yorkshire County and can have it picked-up in a moments notice!

Well, at the time of the change, our friends in the Northern area had not hinted at breaking the rules. They still played by the rules at that time! (I'm sure that had Bill known about how devious they were, he may have kept the old rules in place!!) And almost from the get-go, our friends to the South have been, shall we say..."willing to push the limits of the rules??"

Sorry but you recall wrong. First it says, San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties. Second it says, "It's not a big deal if it goes outside the county but don't let it wander too far, PLEASE." I suspect many folks differ on their definition of "too far." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also sorry, but I didn't say coords were updated to make things easier on the Northerners either. That was 2 for the road. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also see that Tag's description says there's no log! What's with that? More misinformation from the farmer? The description for territories was changed to accomodate our *cough* friends from MAC and Stockton...So the ORIGINAL description was Stanislaus County... Yes, I stand corrected about the comment made by 2 for the road...But you did write that a MAC cacher would have found it 50 feet away. Don't know anything about the "no log" stuff...That would be information only someone that has recently found it would know!

Aha!! That's the problem: From where I sit . The Northerners just SIT while the Southerners go out and HUNT!! Well, I suppose that us Northerners DO have a life outside of Geocaching...As difficult as it is to believe. (Must be nice to be independently wealthy Tom!)

Since when is Turlock NORTH? From where I sit it's about 50 miles SOUTH! 50 miles South if WHERE?? And if I recall, Tag was not to leave Stanislaus County...What happened with that rule?? (Since Tom was suggesting that the coordinates were updated to make things easier on us "Northerners")

Or perhaps you were using the old location - since the NEGLIGENT owner has left the old coordinates at the top of the page? Just another straw that clearly shows BOGA doesn't really care about Tag any more. Who's your daddy? BTW - since the "old" and "current" location are at most 50 feet apart, I'm sure a Southern (think MAC) cacher would have grabbed it. Based on the number of lifeline calls I know have been made from several "Southerners"...I doubt it.

The only reason I knew anything about this was because I got notified by Geocaching.com, that a note had been posted and when I went there, there was this note from Radikel but it seemed she forgot to post the coordinates. Had to give her a little grief about that and thought I'd let everyone know. So much for trying to be helpful. So for now on.............................NO MORE MISTER NICE GUY! Again...the lips are moving so he must be....... Dang Tim, you're a tough crowd to play to. You and your family going to be able to make the S'Mores & Snores? Is this your feebled attempt to change the subject and take suspicion away from you? HAHAHAHA when is the smore's event? I might have to try to make it to this one.... Kind of odd how much was said about TAG being unavailable and how terrible that was,yet it has been available now for 3 days and no one has jumped on it. S'Mores and Snores is June 2, 3 & 4 with the main picnic event for the 3rd. Unfortunately, Tag has been gone so long that most of us had doubts that he would ever be back here! It takes a little while to sink in that Tag actually was in the proper territory again.

Unfortunately, this geogang cares not for geolaws or even common geocourtesy. I say it's time for some geo vigilanteism. Any ideas? ooohh...vigilanteism...count me in! And Happy Mothers Day to all the geo-mothers out there!

Hey Bill...Wasn't Tom and Doug still on probation from their last offense?? If so, being that they are accessories to Tag being kidnapped again as well as having prior knowledge to the current situation, (see above notes from Tom), doesn't it warrant a more serious punishment??
