  1. I decided to bring Lunch Time Nappers Back from the dead. it is different than before (different container and a slightly different hide) so those that found it before I am allowing you to find it again.
  2. Technically it is listed as a mystery cache... The cache page gets updated as often as Bill can get to updating them... BUT you would look at the latest log entries to see what the altest coordinates are. Also if you put it on your watchlist you will get emails every time someone posts a find, note, or anything on it. Then you will get email notifications of changes to it.
  3. good question I didn't think of that at first...
  4. I think they are taking some of their rules and running off the deep end with them. BUT I unfortunately to not make any of the rules. Those at Groundspeak do. how it is an abuse of their system I don't know. I mean sure if they don't want you to have the coin active let you know that BUT to archive the cache that they approved in the first place? sounds like a bit of a power trip to me. BUT I do not know their side of the story either. I do know that some of the approvers jsut do what they are told to do.
  5. I hear that it is going to be a doozy! I am looking forward to attempting a find! don't build it up too much.... I wouldn't say it is better than Tim's... in fact not really all that hard at all. I am proud of it BUT it shouldn't prove to be too difficult! I jsut keep forgetting to take it with me.... I know where I am putting it... just have to get it into my car on my way to Football!!!! You know, "better than Tim's" is all relative. I was proud of that one as well but I have done other caches that I felt were much better than my creation. R.I.P. Tag was one that comes to mind...Laura's rock was absolutly amazing and evil in more ways than one. I appreciate the compliment but am looking forward to the "new and improved" Tag! Ok Tag is out now for all of you N 37° 40.547 W 120° 56.707 OK it is out there..... Sorry for the delay. Fly on out and grab it!!!!! Left a micro coin for the next to log and move on also.
  6. NO! Yeah the more I look at them the more I like the middle one. BUT with the lighter background

  8. I like the sun also BUT I do think it is a good idea to make the blue light on both sides like the one above here.
  9. Email sent.... hopefully the LE was still available... (I probably missed gthe post where we were told they were no longer available!)
  10. That sounds like MY household!!!!!! That is one of my favorite caches. Mostly due to his attention to detail.
  11. HEY..... the site is down! tried looking up the new cache that jsut popped up..... And thought I might go grab it while out placing tag. BUT can't get in to see it!
  12. Only lost were fencing materials and my time. The guys car is now beat up - but would have been worse had we made him drive it out of the tangled mess. We were kind and cut his car out. The CHiP [not to be confused with Certified Health Physics which is the legal reference for CHP] and I learned the passenger was the car owner and a Marine on leave from over seas. He had asked the driver (whom has a suspended license) to drive because the Marine was too drunk. Everything was going find until the drunk Marine reached over and pulled on the emergency brake while they were speeding. [They called it an 'emergency brake' because if you use it... you'll have an emergency!] So here's the dilemma... should he be charged with causing an accident and public drunkeness which will likely get him kicked out of the service? --> Talk about off topic <-- That is a tough decision especially since he was atleast smart enough to know he couldn't drive himself. BUT stupid enough to pull on an emergency brake AND find the one person that was there who was not legally allowed to drive!
  13. Another fine mess you have gotten us into Ollie! So are there now TWO CVC Tags for us to go find?? Well actually there isn't ANY to go look for right now. I know where it si going and I have the NEW container to put out. BUT I jsut haven't gone out yet today. SO the new coordinates should be out tonight (Maybe tomorrow morning) I will post here also as soon as I know the coordinates. So just be a little more patient everyone I promise to have it out within 24 hours of this post. (So put the tar and feathers away!!!!!)
  14. Firstly no such thing as off topic with us. we have no topic! Secondly that is one of my favorties. Excellent choice.
  15. Could have been the photographer though! I think I remember that one and thought you were taking a picture past me! HAHAHA Thanks! always good to have a picture of yourself on the internet looking like a goon! HAHAHAHA
  16. I was looking through some of the pics that Tim took at the event... I look like a serious deer in the headlights in this one!!! I have definitely taken better pictures before! HAHAHAHA
  17. Not always true..... Some people still make them trackable. there is still some appeal to others. (for the icons.) my opinion says yes perfectly fine to keep it jsut follow the golden rule (that MOST don't follow any more) "trade up, or trade even or don't trade at all." For some. I would stop by and get a coin. But I collect. it is only cool for those that are collectors to get them. not all collect coins.
  18. Shoot a house that "good" is probably still a million dollar home in the bay area!!!
  19. Welcome to the nuthouse we refer to as the CVC forums!!!!!!! Glad to have met you the other day!
  20. Oh, ya? Then why did I leave the event and go home to do more farm work rather than go Geocaching (which is what I really wanted to do)? Does that sound like someone with any intelligence? Ted and Rosa where standing in the S/E Corner and Kim was standing at the counter to the North of the sign in. I understand that in spite of my little error with the micro-cachers event... they had fun anyway. It turns out a Geo-Nut Coin in the middle of a large grassy area is just a little too tuff for the little ones. Ops! Next event I'm involved in will boast fun activities for those under three feet tall. Heck the harder it is the more fin some of them have!!! I'll jsut remember to arm my kids with a metal detector when they are coming to an event you are holding! HAHA
  21. You can tell he has a biast (spelling) opinion!!! BUt I must agree... a bunch of great caches!
  22. I can say I am a proud Card Carrying Member of Club DUFI in the Norther California Chapter!!!!!!! It is a GREAT CACHE Idea!
  23. Wish I could help BUT I know nothing of the area...
