Hello fellow cachers! Can someone tell me how I change my cacher name without losing all my stats? I have finally got a personalized plate that resembles my cache name and would like to change it so they both match can anyone help me out? I did it once before along time ago just cant figure out how I did it. Thanks SL

hey everyone I have a explorist 500 and the buttons just all of the sudden stopped working one day. Any idea why and how i can fix the problem. If I push the buttons with a pen or pencil tip they will work but other then that they wont work with my fingers just one day they went from working great to not working so someone please help!

How do i request to be an moderator for geocaching? so i can publish cache's and patorl the fourms?

Can you add your find stats on myspace? i want to add that little box on right hand side of the screen that says found/hide to my myspace site does anyone no if and how i can do that?

Im just starting out in geocaching but up to about 16 finds now but i want to find my FTF cache but dont no how to search for recently placed caches. so how do i get a FTF any pointers?

*sigh* its always something i feel like beating my head aginst a wall im having no luck with this caching thing

ya i fel that but i have no other choice! and i cant get my cache list to my gps any pointers i mean i found the right drivers but it stil wont find it

why is vista finding my magellan explorist as a unknown device?

Hey everyone i just recently just traded my tom tom for the magellan eXplorist 500 and its great i love it now i loaded all my caches on to the soft wear on my computer with the softwear it came with. and it has a buttton to upoad all my caches to the gps. when i ook up my gps it recognizes there is somethig connected but it gives me the error message on the windows task bar that say" The divice you pluged in has malfunctioned and is not recognized by windows" and it comes up as a unknown device? How do i get windows vista home addition to recognize my gps? thankyou team oneway

Not sure why it doesn't work for you. Do you have Google Earth on your PC? Is it working for any one outside New Jersey? 'cause it ain't working over here either. lol notworking here ethier?

what about the garmini etrak legand? any good? Craig's List then take the money and buy something else. There aren't many choices for "good" handheld units under $150. You might run by your local Walmart and see if they have any of the Explorists still available. You could also look at the new Tritons but word on the street is that they are still buggy (but updates are coming). There's also the Garmin Etrex line but at $150 you'll be making some tradeoffs. You might also try Costco which has a great return policy in the event that you buy another gps that doesn't work for you.

Hey everyone i am not new to caching i have only found 9 tho because i don't have a gps. On black Friday i ran out and bought a tom tom one 3rd addition for 150 cuz it was on sale. I thought it would work for caching but boy was i wrong scene then I haven't had the money to buy a new one so will someone in Arizona please trade me a decent hand held for my tom tom? Its in great condition hardly used i live in mesa and have lived her for 19 years and no my way around so someone please help me i need it by this weekend to if at all possible garmini is prefered thank you! I have a Cache it has been muggled 3 times in the last week and i want to arcive it its been there scene 11/4/07will i get in trouble for arciving it this soon? I just cant seem to keep it out of the hands of mugglers what should i do?
