  1. We write down the coords. of the parking area in addition to entering them into the gps'r and always carry extra batteries and a backup gps'r.
  2. Sounds like fun to us--Bring on the White Elephant Exchange.
  3. Congrats. to all of those that have been bitten! We wonder how many bites will occur. It's alot of fun to follow this developing "story."
  4. Just found out that you aren't feeling well. Hoping you'll be back and at'em soon. Your Sunshine geocoin in Arizona hasn't moved yet. We think it might be worried about you! We hope both of you will be up and running soon.
  5. Australia 2007 geocoin. Where can I get activation code. Thanks.
  6. Arizona #9, dropped in micro cache and is off and running.
  7. We'd like to trade one of our personal geocoins for one of the great looking ones you are having made. Thanks for your service.
  8. Arizona #6. We'd love to place one. Thanks.
  9. We've backed way off. It's sort of like we O.D'd on all of the pretty stuff coming out lately. A lot of the geocoins being produced during the last year are down right ugly! One post stated that the LE and XLE geocoins will hold their "value." We don't think that will be the case. We really enjoy collecting geocoins but don't kid ourselves as to their future value. We display state geocoins on our desk along with a few country ones. The coin holder books we store under the bed but bring them out for events when we feel that attendees might want to make a discovery. We feel that our most "valuable" ones are the earliest ones produced--whether state, personal or event geocoins. That reflects geocaching history from the start. We consider ourselves lucky to possess three or four of the "big ones." We treasure the personal geocoins that we have traded with geocachers that we know or have met.
  10. Let us know if we can help. We don't need geocoins in exchange.
  11. A happy, happy Easter to all of you.
  12. Wonderful, wonderful pics. So glad all is going well.
  13. Congrats to Team Honeybunnies and Jay Mills on your awesome GSA finds. Rain in S Arizona the next couple of days but I don't think it will put a damper on our huge camp out event this weekend. Not sure if we will have computer access or not.
  14. How about 999 MPH. That was the highest velocity the software would allow--we were actually going much faster. It took over 30 minutes for satellite acquisition and was sporadic thereafter
  15. Our prayers are with you and Jacob. We just found the good news about Jacob's surgery and progress. May God show favor to you both as the healing continues. We have your geocoin here and it encourages us always.
  16. All right--We're almost there. Thanks for the update.
  17. We agree, time to place a cache in the remaining four or get a new rep. for that state. It has been long enough. As the Arizona rep. I think we placed ours in two or three weeks. We must be pushing a year now. Come on lets get it done. What states remain?
  18. Enjoyed the animal encounter reports. On our personal Arizona geocoin the reverse has inscribed, "Wildlife adventures in Arizona Geocaching." We are always in the "observation" mode whenever we geocache. Our encounters are too numerous to list here. During your caching adventure, stop, look, and listen now and then. You might be surprised at what you might observe.
  19. Congratulations fairyhoney--well deserved. Have to go do a few caches now. Perfect weather here today in southern Arizona.
