  1. Could you walk me through how to load it? And...can you make the text a little larger?
  2. I think that the model Nuvi that you have makes a big difference. Not all are WAAS enabled. I have a Nuvi 360 and I can get within 3-6 feet pretty consistantly...it runs a good race against my geo buddies garmin and magellan. Again don't forget to be a pedestrian/off road.
  3. I use a 60csx and gsak with smart tags to add waypoint number, difficulty, type of container, and date last found. This is enough to do most run of the mill geocaching. I also use a gsak macro to add all the cache info, including logs, to my ipod. This way, when I can't find the cache, I go back and read the description. I tried the palm and cachemate but as someone else said on another string, I am more likely to have my ipod than my palm. Tool_Man I hate to sound stupid, but what is gsak?
  4. Thank you for the information. I have checked the online manual and without opening the package and actually trying it, I wasn't sure. That is what I was afraid of.
  5. I got a new Garmin 60CSX for Christmas. My goal is to go paperless as my Magellan Crossover works adequately to get me to 300+ caches so far. The ream of paper I have to juggle as I hunt is the problem. Can you download enough info on the 60csx to leave the paper/hint/size/difficulty level at home?? I bought my mother (my geo-buddy) a Nuvi 500 for Christmas. It says it will download all the pertinent information for a cache so no paper is required for quick success. What is your opinion?? One, the other or neither??
  6. I also got a garmin 60, but the 60csx, and cannot figure out if you can go paperless with it. My new goal is paperless as my Magellan Crossover works well for navigaitng to caches. The ream of paper I have to carry and fumble around with as I sign the log, etc. is getting old though. Does the garmin 60csx download any written information from geocaching.com to allow me to do paperless caching???
