  1. So cute, and perfect for our new puppy! I got one of the XLE and one LE. I had seen them on the presale page earlier, but there weren't any pictures. Love them!
  2. We'd love to help Ms. LadyBee out. I placed a bid, but was outbid immediately, but it is now up to $100!
  3. What's funny is that our parents didn't understand the name. We told them they needed to figure it out. My mom finally gave up and told me that we spend too much time solving puzzle caches, and since she's not a cacher, she couldn't figure it out!
  4. Wow...4 minutes!!? I am MOST impressed Eccs! Send me your address and I'll get your coin in the mail.
  5. On Saturday, Chris and I picked up our new puppy. He loves hunting sticks in the yard, and once he gets a little bigger he'll be hunting ammo cans. ( http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=32...35-f5854710b840 ) You can see more pictures of him here: http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome...=0BctmTdm4YsnLg On to the cointest...your prize will be one of my LE geosmirks (35 made, trade only) It's the pink/black nickel version. Your task: Figure out the meaning of Xofderbal's name. This is his caching name, as well as his "real" name. Post your explanation of his name. The first person to get the entire name correct wins the coin. You may guess as often as you'd like. If we don't have a winner by this evening, I'll start giving hints. Good luck!
  6. Vegas would be awesome. The event could be out in Henderson. Still close enough to everything, but even more cost effective. Wasn't there talk about the original Coinfest being held in Vegas? Or did I imagine that? We'd love to go back to Vegas. Airfare is usually reasonable, weather would be nice in the fall, and there are always great deals on hotels in the area. Plus, that's where we got married last month!
  7. It wasn't misplaced--it was sitting at the post office waiting for us (we were on vacation again and had the mail held). I went to pick up mail, and there were a few bubble mailers. Our phone a friend coins, a gift from a friend, and an envelope from Ms.LadyBee. Hmm....we haven't done any missions or trading lately, and this is a thick envelope, what could it be?? So, before I got home, I opened it in the car, and found a nice note and a wrapped package. Hmm...is Beverly trying to get me ready for geocoin poker?? Nooo, inside the deck of cards was a Las Vegas geocoin! To make it even better, the cards were actually from Caesars Palace in Vegas! Thank you SO much Beverly. We both have a new favorite geocoin!!
  8. Anyone have any idea what the older or new serial number ranges are? Would be helpful for anyone going out to their local store to be able to tell if they're getting a new unit or an older unit.
  9. Absolutely-- REI has one of the best return policies I've ever come across. Basically they'll take any item back, in any condition, after any amount of time, and for any reason. They actually encourage you to open and use items, and then bring them back if you're not happy, or it's not what you want. I've seen muddy boots, frayed pants, wet, unrolled tents, etc. all returned with no questions asked.
  10. Got blue and pink last night, but black was sold out. Got two black phones this morning!
  11. Well, since we got married in Las Vegas on the 16th, our hearts desire the Original Las Vegas coin--not the benchmark micro. I got the benchmark micro for us before our trip. This is the one we're looking for:
  12. Very easy--these weren't anything like the swords! I was picking Chris up at the airport at 8 and figured we'd have to try and get them tomorrow. Signed on around 9 pm EST and there were a bunch of everything except the black left.
  13. They come in $1, $5, and $10.
  14. And in caches. Our Roddy's YIME came from a cache here in Pittsburgh. It's been sitting in our collection for two years, and most recently was put in our coin binder about a year ago. We were thrilled to find it, but we knew Roddy would appreciate it even more! We can finally breathe a sigh of relief that it made it! A truely generous gift. My hat is off to you! I'm still in awe, what a wonderful and generous gesture! I'm looking forward to running into LindsyChris either at the Bash or in Pittsburgh in a few months!! My YIME hasn't left my keyboard since I got it (unless to be fondled of course)!! There are truly some awesome people here, some very special ones for certain! Glad you are still enjoying it Roddy! We've been in Vegas, and away from the computer for the past week. We'll be at the MWGB (brand new puppy in two) and to GCF, so I'm sure we'll run in to you somewhere! But we too are going to miss the poems and rhymes. What's the new heart's desire???

  16. Still no word yet? Hoping they didn't get lost in the mail for yours and your recipients sake. No word...that would be just about our luck. We've never had a coin get lost in the mail, and this one is special!
  17. Grrrrrrr Our geocoin hearts desire that our coin reach it's destination!
  18. Sorry for not posting a detailed update, but we received all incoming coins!
  19. Ugh! Coin has been in the mail for a week, and still no word that it has been received! Of course, we didn't do delivery confirmation or tracking! We were going to wait---we might see the recepient(s) later this year, but we decided to go ahead and mail it...
  20. The ducky was one of our top seekers too (I just love the rubber ducks!) and Pete mentioned to us that we could trade for one, and we did--just a few months ago! I love the coin!
  21. Ugh! Still no word that the coin was arrived! Waiting for the response is more nerve wracking than waiting for our trades/purchases to arrive! I didn't get it yet. can you drop me a note to confirm what address you sent it to? Nice try Pete! I can't believe the package STIIIIIIIIIIILL hasn't arrived! We're getting nervous now!! sending to Canada takes longer LOL This is true, buuuut, this one is staying in the continental US!
