  1. We're not....anymore. We left about 2 hours ago after 6 crazy hours of trading. Next year though, we'll be sitting at home while some of you west coasters are enjoying the trading madness!
  2. Ooooh, LOVE the picture. What color is that lab? Or what color did you intend the lab to be?? Please say fox red!!!
  3. Our GCF personal coins left Salt Lake City on Friday!!!
  4. We'd be in for 5! We are...PENN STATE! 04 grads
  5. Too much for us too, but we love the concept.
  6. A little of both--mostly buying coins exclusive to the event since we're having new personals made (trade only, event only)
  7. Our new personal, GCF exclusive, trade only coin. Tsun--we submitted our artwork on Monday, got the mint artwork today and were assured that we'll have them in time for the event, so it may not be too late!
  8. You'll enjoy yourself. Event caches are the only places where everyone has caching in common, and no one looks at you like this when you mention hunting tupperware in the woods. We traveled about an hour and a half away for our first event, so we REALLY knew no one. We picked an event where we knew there were going to be temporary caches, because we were nervous about just sitting around staring at and talking to people we didn't know. The temp caches really helped to break the ice, because we met people while finding the caches. Now, we just show up, and don't worry about it. After 5 years of caching, most people in the area know our name either from our local group, the Groundspeak forums, our coins, or our caches. Have fun!
  9. Yes I have - several times, thru e-mail, profile & PM. I get no response at all - not even a "no thank you" I guess she is too busy with other things... Do ya think you could help? CF30 I'm sorry. The only contact info I have is her email address through her profile. Good luck!
  10. SAMrGRITS are ParentsofSAM's three girls. Have you contacted Steph about trading for hers and her three daughters???
  11. Thanks so much! We can't wait to reveal our GCF trade only coin!
  12. We'd be interested. We did a lot of the winter missions, and then with wedding planning, we stopped participating. We'd be up for a nice "spooky" mission!
  13. Would be nice to see some at GCF! GCF weekend is also Pumpkin Festival weekend in the neighboring town Oh is it? Will you be providing us with info on that? I'd love to check that out. Here is the website: http://hvfdpf.tripod.com/ but it hasn't been updated since January. Keep checking though! Here is a schedule of events in Washington County: http://www.washpatourism.org/custompages/c...;searchMonth=10
  14. Just don't try to find your own caches and you'll be ok!
  15. Oh my gosh. When will Roddy ever catch a break? I missed seeing Roddy at the event, but Chris got to chat with him briefly. Rod and Kaleb are certainly in our thoughts.
  16. I know I found all of these prior to the upgrade since I live here in the Fort. I haven't had any issues on any of his caches yet, I have the 400t. I'll keep an eye out. He does have a 300 now himself so I'll let him know. Our first guess was the pictures--but all of his cache pages have pictures, and we found a BUNCH of his caches this weekend without any problems. Apparently Garmin didn't want us to know anything about these few to make life a little more difficult

  18. We're the friends--we had the PQ and copied it directly into the folder. Very strange--we looked at the cache pages and couldn't find anything special about those caches that were different from Mr. I's other pages.
  19. For those of you seeking a complete set of the MWGB parrot group coins, you are most likely missing mine. When I checked in with Sharon on Friday, the coins hadn't arrived yet. We spent the rest of the day caching, and I didn't pick them up until Saturday evening. I gave one away on Saturday, and left one in a cache on Sunday, otherwise I still have the other 48. If you are looking for my parrot, send me an email.
  20. Very cute--like how the pics turned out. The color of the dog looks like our fox red lab puppy. Hopefully we can trade with someone once they go on sale.
  21. Wow, wow, wow! $256--what a nice gesture Glenn!
