9 years later...we are still dropping chicks into caches

Personally, I think hints should be used to help cachers verify that they are looking in the correct location- NOT to be a 100% dead give away to lead you directly to the cache. The hints I find most helpful (when searching) are those that let me know that I'm on the right track, and help eliminate signal issues or answer the "would they REALLY hide it there?" question. An example of hints I would find helpful: "fallen tree" "vines" "call me" (for a cache in a phone booth) "look up" (for a cache hidden above eye level) An example of hints I would find annoying: "2nd fallen tree to the left of the large stump, 10 ft. from trail" "bison tube covered in leaf camo tied to a branch at the Y of the birch tree" "under the front left corner of the picnic bench"

Thanks! About 30 sec. after I posted this, I found the update statistics button-- never knew that was there before. All is right in the world again!

We've been working toward 100 straight days with a find, but the cache we found yesterday we didn;t get a chance to log on the site until after midnight-- we chose 10/12 as the found date, but the statistics page is now showing that 10/11 was our last consecutive day with a find. Since we're only a week away from our goal of 100 staright days, it would be a major bummer to have an error on the stats at this point. Any way to fix this or get help from TPTB on gc.com?

First of all, you are quite welcome. All of the bags had the "extras" which included ducks, chicks, princes, etc. These started with GW5 chicks up until the MWGB parrots from 2008. Just a little something extra. The crown/fishbowl was the "guys" project from the MWGB. Most, if not all also contained one of our GEOsmirks. The versions that were included are our LEs and XLEs. The pink and purple were mine, the green and blue were Chris's. There were 35 of each made in black nickel and 15 of each made in nickel.

Yay! Glad you liked your grab bag. Can't wait to see the complete list. WHen we made the bags we truly just made piles of 10, so what each bag had will be a surprise to use too.
