  1. Are you requesting that the GPX file be zipped before being delivered to your Yahoo mail account? I seem to remember seeing something mentioned about that on the Pocket Query page. I'll try that. I really need this pocket query because of a trip soon in a new caching area. Thanks roadway57
  2. I have me pocket query sent to me yahoo email address. When I go to download the gpx file, yahoo claims there is a virus in the file. any ideas? Roadway57
  3. I'm planning a trip to Kansas City for a conference and caching, anyone have any recommendations for some good caches in that area? I’ll be in town June 16-19. Roadway57
  4. Yep, you should re-stock it and re-activate it. It only has 8 finds and I'm sure the new cachers in the area would love to find it. Yes, you should also make it "kid friendly" after all, they are the next generation of cachers Roadway57
  5. my son is 22 and still has the gameboy i gave him more than 10 years ago. I agree with colonelby, this will influence the next generation of cachers.
  6. that's really funny!!!! roadway57
  7. EMT_Dave, Boy are you quick, not only have you done 5 in one week-end, but you hid one keep up the good work. Roadway57
  8. Congrats on the GREAT FIRST DAY. Do them the best way you can and have FUN. You'll catch on to looking for them even if your GPSr says you're right on top of if. You just have to learn the hiding technique of the cachers around your area. The most important thing to remember is that it is NOT about the numbers; it is about HAVING FUN !!!! Roadway57
  9. fly46, The post you were looking for has been linked above. Thanks for looking Roadway57 Nope.. Those aren't the one I was looking for. They work, but the one I was going for had a full tutorial on the materials used to make one. And I saw it before a cache I did on Aug 28, 2003, so the post was sometime between when I joined and when I did that cache, so summer of last year. Hmm... If you fake a rock and hide it in a heap of about 5000 rocks, is it a difficulty of 5? I know that the ones (rock micros) GC.com use to sell in a ditch of rip rap were hard to find. Roadway57
  10. Do those electronic bug repellant things work?? Roadway57
  11. fly46, The post you were looking for has been linked above. Thanks for looking Roadway57
  12. i went to krupps today to check out their rocks. they only had huge ones that a person could almost hide under and they were way over priced. Thanks Uperdooper, I really am greatful, I hope you found the cache you were looking for. Roadway57
  13. that's a good idea. that way they see the fun of caching and they might not want to hid them for you as my nephews always wanted to do when they were kids. Roadway57
  14. Well, Uperdooper, that's ok. But then again, if you need a reason to go near a needed cache...yep. Roadway57
  15. yep, that's it. Thanks a bunch Carleenp!!!!! Roadway57
  16. I was a thread on the forum sometime ago on rock style cache containers. One of the responses told how to make them with plaster of paris, water and 1 other ingredient. I can’t find the thread to get the formula right. Any suggestions? Roadway57
