You can use GSAK for load %Smartname=10 %hint into the Cache Description field of a PQ that you download. Crakerjacks; You have to remember the unit you have has one of te hstrongest receivers. It is only as accruate at the one the person hid the cache. I find a lot of caches are off but it is not my unit it is the persons unit thZAt hid the cache. If the hidder does not get a good signal it will appear that your unit is the one off but in reality it is theres hjope thisa clears some of yopur problem up

I know how to calibrate the unit and i even tried that i put in new battees and then re calibrated even.After about a hour of being turned off i got it to work again properly. I was thinking at first thaty i might have bumped a wrong button while on horse back.

When on my compass page some times my 60 csx will lose all the numbers and direction indicators. Yesterday when i was going to a cache the compass would just be a big circle with degree marks but no headings ( N S E W )and no arrow either. i would try turning the unit off and back on . Stop Navigation and re satart it. if i left the unit off for like 10 minutes it would come back on . Has anyone else experienced this kind of performance ? Thanks in advance

I could not load activeSync on my Casio B E 300 it would not allow me to load it on there. When you said load activesync on my pda i think thats what you meant. When i try i do not get a listing for it in the options window . Do you have any hints?

Hi all: I hope it is ok to post this here:) I bought a PDA on Ebay. There is no manual with it or a CD . The unit i bought is a Casio BE - 300 do i need the cd for it to down load pocket queries for it. I tried calling Casio and they said they was out of the cd and it is back ordered . If anyone has any helpfull ideas i sure would appreciate it thanks Gare-Ohio

I have a 60csx with a 1 gig chip. It does not hold all of street nav 8 on it. I can only get about 2/3rds of the usa on mine . I now have a 2 gig chip ordered and will let ya know when i get it wortking I also want to install the Topo maps and i was told if i put a 2 gig chip in i can get both sets on my unit.

i was kind of looking for a new one. I checked on amazon.com and it was not a micro disk. It has to be a micro disk and not even a ultra disk will work. I just didn't want to buy one from a guy that has 26 negative feed backs in one month

I need to buy a 2 gig sandisk for my 60csx does anyone have a used one or know where i can get a new one. There are some on Ebay. Buy the sellers have way to many negative feed backs

I had a problem with my 60csx not seeing the 1 gig card. I had a Ultra 11 disk and the garmin would not read the Ultyra II for what this is worth. You porobably looked into this already .

Talked to Garmin today and they told me when getting a larger memory chip for the 60CSX you need a micro chip not a MINI disk or a micro II (2) the micro 2 will not work in the unit. Has anyone else had this problem ?

I bought a Sandisk 1 gig chip for my garmin 60CSX it came with a micro chip also. I did not need the Micro chip . My 1 gig chip would not work but my 64 mg works fine. I have a new 1 gig comming . if all you have is a Garmin gps you do not need the Micro chip and save your money and just buy the small chip

Thanks all for the information. Being new to this CSX we do a lot of horse back riding all over the Ohio, Pa, NY and WV states. We go to a lot of places that do not have very well marked trails. So we like to be able to get back to our camp site:). From what most have said it seems i should just buy the street maps and not the topo map program?

My wife bought me a 60csx for my birthday back in June. I also bought a 1 gig mem Sand disc for it. What maps can i add in the unit so i cal trail ride our horses and also mayb use it to find streets and addresses ? or am i asking to much ? thanks in advance. I am near Canton Ohio and could sure use some help
