  1. Not for pringles, Spuddies, 'cause with Spuddies, enough is never enough. I liked the extended battery too. LOL!
  2. Addictive isn't quite the right word. Obsession comes a little closer. I have found myself buying coins in sets of two or three at a time. 1 to keep, 1 to activate or trade (depanding on the coin), and one to use as a mystery coin.
  3. Your boss wonders how you got grass stains on your pants between a 10:00 and a 1:00 meeting while working downtown
  4. I'm a big bald guy with a sick and twisted sense of humor. I used to be a commercial diver (underwater construction, ship salvage, etc.) and one day while suiting up in my black drysuit, someone said I look like Uncle Fester. So I bought a light bulb novelty toy that would light up whenever I placed it in my mouth. Great party trick for years. Uncle Fester was taken the first day I logged in to something years and years ago, god remembers what though. So the Unkle stayed.
  5. I have accounts for me, my wife and each of two children. The kids are young, but love to find the caches. It takes a little longer to log all four people, but each of the kids can track where they have been seperatly. Not always are we all together on a cache. So it helps to keep track of who has been where. I felt the team approach was unfairly giving credit for finds that one of us may have missed. That's just the way I have decided to do it and it works pretty well.
  6. OK, Started Geocaching today and am a big Starwars Fan. Found Geocaching Jedi Coin 028 in the un-original stash, just over from the original stash trubute. The force was strong in this one... Big thanks to whom ever placed it there. A great beginning to a new hobbie.
  7. Not much to tell, my sister reported me to hair club for men in the mid 90's and it took me three years to get off their list. 2 kids, both of whom are looking forward to geocaching-starting this weekend. I have a wife, she's on the fence about this being a good idea. One day she will learn that all my ideas are good. Maybe not well thought through or tested, but still good. I might be looking for a job soon, but that's a different thread.
  8. Hmmm, I may have to rethink my strategy. I was going for the large sampsonite suitcase to carry around. Hey, it has wheels.
  9. Oh come on, I can't be the only lurker today... Like I'm the only one who has time to waste at work.
  10. Been lurking since Friday, May 16th. Met a guy Geocaching back in 2001 - Thought he was nuts. Went camping a couple weeks ago with some friends and one of them was into it. It was pretty cool to hike along on the search, so this weekend we're spending it as a family Geocaching. We intend to make the original cach site our first, homage I guess. It's about an hour away so we'll hit plenty more on the route back. Lurking lets me watch the interactions, most are pretty good and positive, others are painful to watch. You just have to be carefull what you say and think before you write.
