I hadn't noticed it was gone either. Can someone tell me why they had it in the first place? I never really understood what they intended to do with them.

I had an epiphany about a month ago when I found a nano with it's tightly rolled log. It was one of those with a little piece of wire attached to the end of the paper (center). I'd always wondered why some had them and it hit me... I took the magnetic base I was holding, held it to the cap with the log and it pulled that little sucker right out of there! I'm glad it only took me about 50 or so nanos to figure that trick out. Unfortunately the majority don't have that wire built onto the log.

Thank you for the input, I'll check out the other thread and wait a few days for it to hopefully get resolved.

On a couple of my cache listings, specifically a MnDot logo for two rest area caches, the logo has a space in it where it didn't before. I've tried a few things but it didn't change. Can someone help please?

What I heard is that MN.Fruitcake offered him an obscene sum of money to retire so that he could take over. Surfer Joe! I mean Moe the Sleaze! Whatever you wish to go by ... thank you! You did a wondeful job of reviewing and posting caches. Thank you for all of your time that you put in ... I appreciate it! I would like to echo psubrian's sentiments. I was always impressed with the amazingly quick reviewing and publishing of caches by SJ, he did an outstanding job for the 5 or so years that he held the position. Many thanks and I hope you enjoy your "retirement".

As previous poster said, welcome to Minnesota! As for finding someone to cache with I think I would look into joining Minnesota Geocachers Association or attend some event caches, there are plenty of those all year long. You might have to go to the Twin Cities but that's only an hour away. Or you could host your own event cache! Good luck!
