That's great advice !! So it would be ok if we logged the FTF we got tonight in.....August ?? If you are you being serious, I will answer by saying this. Did you actually find the cache and sign the logsheet? Then it shouldn't matter when you log online. If you are mocking my reply, then I will say play the way you want and good luck.

My parents are in their mid 60s and they don't always log their finds or lack of. They enjoy caching with my family and I at times. Sometimes they are able to go back and log one here and there when they ask me "what cache was that when ....." It shouldn't matter when a cache is logged online as long as their name is on the logsheet, find or otherwise. Remember its just a game and everyone will play different. Its how you play it that matters to you. Don't fret the way others play or you'll always find problems. Just have fun!

I don't know the answer to your question, but agree with you completely. I'm a PM and have been since I started caching almost 3 years ago. It shouldn't matter whether you have any finds before or after you become a PM. Once a PM, favorites should be activated for all finds logged. Good point to bring up. However, it may just be a bug that hasn't been fixed yet also. I will be watching this thread to see what the lackeys say.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but here's an issue. When I click on the "view in beta maps" it directs me to the same location where I was looking in the original maps, but when I click on the "Back to original maps" from the beta maps section, it takes me to Green Lake in Seattle. Is this just me or is it something that will be fixed at a later date? Thanks for all the great updates. Having a blast using them.

Glad you reposted again because I forgot about this thread. Here's a new one I'll bet no one on here has used or heard of. Hard to sing on a post, but does anyone know the the old tune: "Peeeanuuuuuuut, Peanut Butter and Jelly Peeeanuuuuuuut, Peanut Butter and Jelly!" Here's how it goes, similar to the hucklebuckle call. The first person that finds it, walks away and then starts saying (most of time they would sing it) "Peanuuuuuuuuut, Peanut Butter ........ Peanuuuuuuuuut, Peanut Butter ........." (without the "and Jelly" part) the frantic search ensues by the others, while the first finder continues the chant, until til the second person finds it, grabs it and holds it up and yells out "AND JELLY!" All others don't get the opportunity to see it hidden which makes the mad rush even funnier. This is hilarious! You have to try it sometime. "Peanuuuuuuuuut, Peanut Butter........."

We have one here in the Greater Charlotte, NC area when we have group hunts that is very similar to MustangJoni's term. When one find the cache, they will walk away from the hide and wait several seconds then call out "HUCKLE-BUCKLE". What's funny to the caller is that that's when the frantic search begins. Everyone usually goes to where the caller said it, but he/she has already walked away from the real hide.

It was a great heart pounding game. Who would have thought it would have gone 119 minutes before a goal. Thank you seekerfamily for the cointest. It was fun. Congratulations to EdDakota! See everyone on the bracket in 4 years.
