  6. Not sure what features your kids need but my daughter (11) bought a Garmin Yellow for $40.00 on ebay (thought her purchasing the unit would help her take better care of it) , and my son (9) a Garmin III that I traded with another cacher for a police scanner. Both gpsr's are not fancy but they do the kids just fine. And if they bust it, I am not out much $. Good Luck, I know my kids really enjoy having their own units, and so does dad. The Miller Family

  13. I can not believe it. I actually made it work. On the limits tab on Plucker I noticed that the depth was set at 2. I decided to change that to 4, and BAM. I now have PQ downloaded onto my Treo. Thanks for all the help, and listening to me B@#$%. The Miller Family
  14. I must be a fricken idiot. I can not figure out where to download Sunrise xp. I click on the link, and also go to sunrise xp.com, and it gives me a supported links page. I begining to think this paperless thing is not for me. Thanks,

  17. fratermus: Step #1 I used pocket query to get the file. After unzipping it I ran it through GPXSpinner. Once that was completed I get a folder on my desktop named caches. Step#2 I then open Plucker. Inside plucker it asks for the index.htm file from the folder. In the folder there is not such file. I attempted to use the one labeled index, however that did not work. I may be missing the step#2 in your list, and I am not sure how that works. I have also used GSAK to attempt the download. Again I get what looks like the home page, and then when I touch a cache I get this message. " Sorry, the link you selected was not downloaded by Plucker. It was probably an external site, or exceeded the maximum depth that the referring page was asked to retrieve." Getting Thanks for your help
  18. OK, I think I have followed the directions exactly the way they are on Cacher U. The problem I am having is when I get to the part on where you enter the file into plucker it asks for the "index htm" file for me to add from the cache folder. I can not find this folder, and am not sure what to put. I can get the list to show up on my palm, however when I click on a cache it tells me " Sorry the link you have selected was not downloaded by plucker". An suggestions would be great. 19. My father is looking for a GPS unit for his car. He is more interested in the automotive GPS. He needs something that is ready to navigate right out of the box, no maps to download to it (he is not very computer savory). I was looking at the Garmin C530. Can anyone share if this would be the unit for him, and if anyone has experience with this model, what do you think of it? Thanks, The Miller Family
  20. Hi Larry, That was it. I was in the track up mode. When I changed to the north up, it came one. Thanks, Kevin
