  1. About three weeks ago. By the way, I HATE VISTA
  2. I'm using Vista, GSAK and my palm all with no problems. Are you using Cachemate or something else on your Palm? All I did was go to the Palm web sight and download the latest version of Palm Desktop and it works fine.
  3. From things I've heard and read, I believe Michigan has one of the best reviewers in the country. Rusty is always on top of things and does an amazing job. He definitely deserves this.
  4. I SECOND that. I would give one of my kidneys (you can choose which one) + a handful of geocoins if I could get my hands on one of those. I've been looking to complete my MiGO seasonal collection for quite awhile now. the first MIGO winter I think is harder than the fall. I have a spring and summer, but I don't think I'll ever see my collection completed. See my post above, I have an entire set (all or nothing) that I am willing to sell.
  5. I SECOND that. I would give one of my kidneys (you can choose which one) + a handful of geocoins if I could get my hands on one of those. I've been looking to complete my MiGO seasonal collection for quite awhile now. I have a complete (unactivated) set that I would be willing to sell for the right price. What I really want is a Brand NEW Garmin 60csx (hint, hint)
  6. Hey all, I have an entire set of 2005 MiGO Seasonal coins (unactived) and the new Winter 2006 seasonal coin I am looking sell. Currently my GPS is acting up big time and I want to get a new 60csx, just to give you a little idea of how much I am "hoping" to get for these five coins. I would like to sell the entire set as one. Two of the coins are GC trackable two are trackable through MiGO site and the new 2006 coin is not trackable anywhere. PM me if you're interested.
  7. Maybe in size but nowhere near the same in weight. This coin is maybe 5lbs, a far cry from 200lbs. The manhole is one trade item that would stay right where I found it.
  8. Please clarify... has MiGO become a registered charity? MiGO is a registered non-profit 503c(7) organization. Maybe not exactly what some people think of as a charity organization but it is a registered non profit group. A charity can be defined as a foundation created to promote the public good (not for assistance to any particular individuals). So yea, I would say MiGO is a registered charity.
  9. I'll put it in an evelope and mail it to you, hope the envelope holds up and the coin doesn't fall out.
  10. I didn't think of that until time was running out and I had to get things going. I had to call in several favors to get all the parts and pieces needed to complete it.
  11. Hey, I recognize that coin. Glad you guys like it. I am hoping it brings in a nice amount for the organization, especially since we have serveral big time coin collectors that are part of MiGO. Unfortunantly you must be present to bid in this auction. Why don't you make a road trip to the great state of Michigan and join us for one awesome event.
  12. Any updates as to when this issue is going to be resolved???
  13. They are made by a guy that I work with. He has a side business of making scrapbooking cutouts with a laser. His laser is also capable of cutting and etching wood (obviously). If your interested send me an email and I can put you in touch with him. Just and FYI, they run about $1.25 each, not cheap, but cheaper than the real coins. Like I said, they look much better in person. I put one in an air tight coin holder and it looks sweet.
  14. Here's my version of a wooden coin/token/nickel. It's that same size and thickness as a regular coin. The wood is cherry and the image is laser etched into the wood. I think they turned out awesome. They look much better in person. Let me know what you think.
