These coins are already flooding eBay. One even list for $39.99, come on really?
Some of us use the profits off ebay to help fund the events we hosted and or plan on hosting.
I know all i do for geocaching cost a lot of money and this is a great way to help fund doing this.
Event locations, Raffle prizes, Food, snacks and all types of printing cost i use to help spread the word of geocaching. (This is my choice to do and my family enjoys what we do)
If i was unable to sell coins to help out on funding then i would not be doing all i do for geocaching.
I do agree there is some things that get carried away but it is out of our control what happens at times.
There are also some out there that just take the money and run but there is many of us that do not do that.
I hope nobody takes my reply negative at all because i am trying to be very positive and let people know what some of us do with our sales of things.
I hope everyone had a great time at there events and they plan on doing the same next year.
Cant wait for 11-11-11

I am sorry i have been so busy to reply to all the emails over Trading the Idaho 10-10-10 coin.
I will be doing trading after the event is over this weekend.
It may be a good idea to eamil me on Monday to confirm trades and etc.

3 hours of meetings, then I get to go home and pack, and then I'm up at 5a tomorrow to head to the airport and fly out!!!

We had planned on leavinfg tomorrow but we ended upwitha few appointments so we are Leaving real early Wednesday and returning sometime next week or the next weekend.
I can not wait to get out of town either.

~A first hand account from my 2010 Mega Scotland shipments.
I shipped product from Canada to the UK and then shipped the product back that didn't sell. Based on the declared value (marked shipment low) I was charged VAT, brokerage fees and other handling fees totaling about $400 going over and nothing when it came back. I used Canada Post which then transfers cartage to Royal Mail and the reverse to send them back. Shipping was additional.
Ouch!

This is really sounding like some fun.

Since i have a vending booth next to anne.and.eli and they are bringing the Taffy i decided to go grab 60 Idaho Spud candy bars to share but i am not sure how many i will eat on the away.

Here are the other two GCF versions, Freya and Card Shark. Freya is the color of the Vikings, and Card Shark features glow.
Any leftovers not sold at GCF will go onto my shop when I return home.

I am driving out Tuesday from Idaho (Oregon Boarder) and should make it there Thursday night or Friday early and then head back on Sunday or Monday or Tuesday.
7 to 10 days of fun on the road with my oldest daughter River Dancer and River Boarder and then to top it all off i get to se a bunch of you from Geocaching :?)

It is amazing to see people pay this.
The bad thing is poeple enjoy the thrill of the war.
To each his own on bidding.
I fell bad when people bid high on my auctions.
Sometimes i send extra items and i have told people to stop bidding because they can buy online and they kept going due to the thrill.
It is nice to make a little money so i can afford to fund all the events i host and it helps take care of my geocaching needs since my life is the way it is.
But 500 is just plain out CRAZY!!!!!!!!
