Or twitter stuff nobody asked for. Geocaching is a outdoor sport, what means, prepare yourself (e.g. with GE), go out and find a box. Most other things are unnecessary. I can only create 5 PQ a day. To check a certain area or country it´s not enough. GE was the best available solution for it.

That's a task you can easily complete using Geocaching.com-GoogleMaps. No need to install and use an external application for this. That´s not true! Implementation of tracks is not possible, it is much slower, out zooming increases waiting time, no additional information like hotels, restaurants etc. GM is no replacement of GE! If GM covers the same functionality...ok, but it doesn´t.

many other cachers in Germany complaining that fact too. In the "green" german forum you´ll find that discussion. Groundspeak: please contact our german reviewers and asked them about their feeling.

If only 200 users (a number I cannot believe!) using that service, where´s the problem? Opening a GPX-file, which I got as a result of a PQ is not a really good solution, because this way is slow and needs many interactions and steps in between. KML was a great tool and from our point of view, switch it on again, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Groundspeak, a lot of geocachers used the KML-tool for their own trip preparation. It was easy, fast and very useful. Other possibilities are not that good and efficient. In fact, it´s not funny anymore I really think about, if renewal of my premium member account is a good idea. In Germany we have a good alternative : www.opencaching.de . So guys, come on and stopp playing around. Keep the server running. I love gc.com and I don´t wanna change !

how long do you think will the test phase continue ? the weekend is coming up again and the performance of the server is incredible slow. can testing be done weekdays ?

yes, it´s not funny anymore. the last two week were a nightmare. sometimes it is working, but most times the site is very very slow, server too busy etc., etc, ..... sure, geocaching is getting more and more popular, but this topic is not coming over night. the problem was available more or less the complete last year. more and more cacher are paying their pm fee, buying geocoin, travelbugs, ... I think we can expect a server system, which allows a normal operation. am I wrong ?

that´s not funny anymore in the past there where only problems during the weekend. now we have the situation, that over the hole week messages like "timeout", "server busy" ... occured. is anybody taking care of this problem ? it is not possible anymore to prepare myself for the next days. once again : THAT´S NOT FUNNY ANYMORE !

Hey Groundspeak, here is definitely need to do something very fast !!! In the past problems only occured on weekend. Now it is not possible to reach gc.com during the week. Summer is coming and this situation will not getting better. So please do something. It´s very frustrating especially for a paying premium member.

yes, there is need to discuss it. do you think Buxley´s is senseless and not good enough ? so why are so many cacher complaining ? again : Buxley´s is a good additional tool. maybe not for everybody, but many cacher were using it especially in Europe. so please try to find a solution together (!) with Buxley´s and other 3rd party sites even for non premium members.

hey, US is not the only part of the world ! sure, GoogleEarth is a nice tool, but only 20% of Europe are provided with fine data. so Buxley´s was a good alternativ to get an overview. and keep in mind : Groundspeak is providing OUR data and I don´t have a problem that Buxley´s getting MY data ! using Buxley´s means, cacher will be guided to gc.com, provided with all information they need and will get the opportunity to left their money to Groundspeak. so where is the problem ? There would be no problem, if good maps and statistics where available e.g. for Germany (and also all other countries in Europe). the actual situation is quite bad and beeing premium member doesn´t help very much.
