  1. Oh man, I want a button maker!!! How cool is that?
  2. I absolutely love my Legend HCx. I love the compact size, I can throw it in my pocket if needed. Pretend it's a phone when "trying" to be stealthy. My friend has the 60CX and really liked the size of mine. I have used it with a mac and I also use it for navigation on occasion.
  3. I am hiding a "dreaded" nano and I want to know what size cache do I mark on the cache listing? Is it "micro" or "other?" I choose a nano because I want to make it handicapped accessible and this works best in this location. Also is a 2 rating okay? I don't think it's really that hard to find, especially if they read the hint.
  4. Wow, it is going to be amazing. I bought my first geocoin to put in caches... Little did I know that I'd be hook on collecting once I received it. It was the Natasha Jack Russell coin, so beautiful I couldn't part with it. My next 2 are horse based the Arab & Quarter horse... Being an equestrian, I love all things horsey - I would absolutely love one of these!! Can't wait to see the finished product.
  5. Ditto. I have the Nikon Coolpix S51 8.1 MP, I bought it specifically for caching. It is ultra slim and it takes great pictures for geocaching. It fits in my Geocaching case or my pocket. If I were going to a really scenic area, then I'd bring my Canon Digital SLR for pictures first priority, geocaching second priority. Coolpix Samples
  6. GPS Extra batteries Research on the Caches I'm hunting (Not paperless yet...) Swag Extra baggies Tweezers - Learned this last week when it took me 10 mins to remove a tight log! Chopstick - To push micros out of tight spots, especially when they are covered with spiderwebs! Gloves - For reaching in those places that my hand really shouldn't be reaching into in! Cell phone 2 pens Point & Shoot Camera (Nikon Coolpix is really small and easy to carry in my bag) Patience
  7. I just received my Legend HCX 2 weeks ago and I love it for Geocaching as is! You will probably want the maps since you plan on doing more than geocaching. I will eventually add maps, but I'm having a great time with it now. I did order a 2GB micro SD and cardreader from Amazon, I was told 2GB is more than enough. In my Geocaching bag, I also keep a point & shoot camera for photographing great hides. Enjoy!
  8. Welcome to the Nut Farm, I like that! My family thinks I'm insane. Fortunately I have geeky co-workers that are understanding! It is addictive, I've be doing the "Three Musketeers" with my co-workers, but I just had to have my own GPS Unit - It arrives today!
