hippihiirellä kyseisenä viikonloppuna menoa ainoastaan Pirkkalassa, Helsingissä, Espoossa, Turussa, Kakskerrassa, Kemiössä ja Kaarinassa. Noista vaihtoehdoista joudun valitsemaan varsinaisen Suomen, eli valitettavasti minäkään en pääse . Mutta seuraavaan tapahtumaan pitää päästä (koska sellainen sitten onkaan)!

Luontokätkö? (Luonnonkätkö?) hankalaa..

Ei haittaa ollenkaan . Olenkin miettinyt, että sivuston (siis geocaching.com) käytettävyys on aloittelijalle hankalaa. Et ole ainoa, jolla on ollut ongelmia kätkön loggauksessa. Tervetuloa mukaan harrastukseen, tähän jää koukkuun, mutta hauskaa tämä on aivan varmasti .

Well.. in a 10 km radius I have 22 caches that I haven't found yet . I think that I somehow prefer places I have never been to. That's why I have lots and lots of caches in Tampere and Turku area that I haven't searched for yet. And it's nice to have not found caches nearby - if I feel like going cache hunting I don't need to travel anywhere [].

I was in Kyoto and I wanted to take a bus to the cache location. I must have looked sort of lost reading the map since 3 people stopped and asked do I need help. I said I am looking for the nearest bus stop and they asked where do I want to go. Well I said the first thing that popped into my mind: "That way" pointing to the direction of the arrow. As I said that I realized that it must've sounded extremely stupid . Luckily I knew that there was a sight nearby and I quickly said the name of it. Phew. Elevator & escalator - Floating Garden cache Plane - not directly to the cache though would like to try: Canoe - hope to try it this summer Roller blades - oh dear. dangerous. Rope i.e. climbing - (already plans for that one.. )

I bet you are not doing anything wrong.. I seem to have the same problem with my newest logs - ( my 100th log for example). I guess that there is some kind of a "server error" or something like that. My earlier logs have been shown without any problems. BTW thanks for the page, it's just great!

Varmasti, mutta minä tosiaan nautin suunnattomasti kun löydän joltain muutama vuosi sitten tehdyltä kätköltä paksun vieraskirjan täynnä kuittauksia parin vuoden takaa . Lukunautinto on taattu .

Hei kaikki, olen nyt jonkin aikaa harrastanut tätä kerrassaan mukavaa harrastusta (sadas kätkö lähestyy.. ) ja kätköloggauksia kirjoittaessa olen törmännyt mm. vihkoihin, joihin on kirjoitettu ainoastaan yhdelle sivulle ja jätetty toinen sivu tyhjäksi. Vihko on käytännössä täynnä, mutta puolet sivuista on tyhjiä. Ehdottaisin, että käytetään vihkojen yms. tila hyväksi mahdollisimman tarkasti. Tilaa säästämällä kätkön omistajan ei tarvitse vaihtaa logia niin usein ja yhteen logivihkoon mahtuu enemmän loggauksia. Musta on kiva lukea muiden kuittauksia ja luenkin ne lähes joka kerta läpi. Tällä ehdotuksellani en suinkaan tarkoita, ettei pitkiä tarinoita saisi kirjoittaa - päinvastoin; yleensä pitkät jutut ovat hauskoja.

Lauantait tosiaan sopii yleisesti ottaen paremmin, mutta klo 7.00 on valitettavasti hiukan liian aikainen. Pitäisi meinaan täältä "pohjoisesta" (Tampere) lähteä aamuyöstä liikkeelle . Hi, I just released a new TB in Japan and the cache I put it in disappeared soon after . I read from somewhere that someone used the copy of the dog tag and replaced the TB that way. I was wondering that is it ok to do that? I got a reply from a nice geocacher in Japan who is willing to put my new/old TB into a cache .

Minullekin tuli jokin aika sitten viesti asiasta sähköpostiini. Juuri noiden uusien kätköpurkkien takia en ole viime aikoina viitsinyt tehdä uusia kätköjä. Erwast, voisin osallistua kanssasi kimppaan. Kun saadaan tilattua uudet purkit, niin rupean taas tekemään kätköjä. Toivon kuitenkin, että hyväksyvät jonkin muun maksutavat kuin sen PayPallin, josta on viime aikoina ollut puhetta.

Hi, and welcome back also on my behalf. It will be fun to see you . I recommend Turku (it's a very nice place during summer time) and it's easy to go with a cruise ship from Turku to Stockholm. Usually the ships from Helsinki are a bit more expensive than the ones from Turku. I also think that there is no need to reserve a camping place in advance. There is a very nice camping place in Turku Ruissalo camping. It's on an island and there are a few caches nearby. There are plenty of nice caches in downtown Turku area, one very close to the harbour where the cruise boats are.

Miten olisi jouko? heh. Täältä Tampereelta olisi myös kiva osallistua sinne pääkaupunkiseudun tapahtumaan, mutta perjantai on hiukan hankala päivä, kun on töitä silloin . En tosin tiedä, että voinko edes osallistua, joten saattaa olla turha kommentti.

I will seriously think about joining if they will provide another way to pay besides PayPal. I think that lots of people would join if they did that I won't use PayPal, that's for sure. If they want my money I would like to have another paying method .
