I've been looking around at all the different travel bugs out there. People have some crazy things like bricks and even cars. But what is one thing that has not been made into a travel bug yet? Is there anything that could not be used as a travel bug, regardless of size or weight?
I do a little bit of both scenereos. My most recent creation is a TB made from an old hand-carved wooden Paramedic statue that has been in my posession since 1998.

I just hope that someone responsible finds it each time and it doesn't come up missing. It's not expensive or anything, it's just something that I've had for a long time and would hate to see it get lost.
My brand new geocoin ended up MIA just a day or two before I left it in a cache. And I have a real good idea who took it and didn't log it. I haven't seen it since.
Hey! I know what that is! It's a Microtainer; they're used in hospitals to collect blood specimins!
(All these years as an EMT and this idea never came to me!)
I was thinking about this, but what if someone finds it and takes a photo of something that shouldn't have a photo taken of (if you know what I mean)? Then I'm the one to blame when I get it developed!
I'm putting together a brand new geocache. I want it to be the best one yet; as far as contents are concerned, at least. What are your ideas of things you'd like to find? Nothing too expensive, yet, nothing too boring.
What works is to stand as close as possible for several moments and take the reading. It's best to do this on a clear day. That's what I do and it works fine. You don't have to be right on, but within a few feet is all good. Nobody ever gets it right on; GPS units differ greatly. Generally the ones I find come within about 10 feet or so. It's no big issue if you're not directly on it.
I think it would be neat if we added an average speed calculation to travel bugs much the same way that WheresGeorge does. Any ideas or am I way too far out on this one?
