  1. Congrats to everyone who hit miles stones this weekend at the BCMII and we are so glad you had fun in our little area of the world.
  2. just found this thread pay paled for five tonight.thanks
  3. We live on Roswell Drive so you can put us down for 10 and 1 silver
  4. Wow, time is sure flying! I can't believe the cache machine is this weekend. I want to really stress how delicate the area around #5 Isadora's Pink Ribbon is. These are very small saplings. The tree is just a few feet off the road, please try to stay on the road as much as possible. A lot of children put quite a bit of time and effort into planting these. We did some cache mainenance at #17 Children's Park Beach this weekend. We've changed the lid on the cache to make it easier to open. The listed park hours are from 9:00am to dusk. (it's up to you ) We also changed out the lid on the cache at #27 The Legend of Illahee Hollow. It should be much easier to open. Another note, the Howe Farm series has a very small parking lot, it holds about 5 cars. We've done the majority of the caches, but we'll be hanging around to offer encouragement to everyone. We'll see everyone at the dinners!
  5. Thanks Fledermaus I have been compiling a list of suggestions but you beat me to most of them. Thats a lot of information but very useful, if I come up with any more I will post.
  6. 4 heads for us! We'll be there. We're also going to be bringing our own lunches in case anyone was trying to figure out how much food to bring. Our kids aren't too keen on trying exciting new foods (frito pies).
  7. Eagle Scout class of 1988 troop 504 Chief Seattle Council. Chief Kitsap District. Also Have Arrow Of Light.
  8. it looks fun we will try to be there the 28th @ 8:30
  9. Congrats to all who hit miles stones this weekend at the Riding the Iron Horse event this weekend we were happy we got our 700th. Thanks to all
  10. A co-worker showed this to me: Visit Kitsap We were a little suprised and wondered if anyone else knew of a similar thing in their community.
  11. We were trying to estimate roughly how many people the cache machine would bring in too. We thought about Silver City Brewery, but I just called them and the upstairs only holds about 60 people. I don't think Azteca has much more room either. Fledermaus's idea about Angel's Buffet might be a good idea. The only problem I can see is that they don't serve alcohol. It does have a large banquet area though.
  12. WOW!!! I finally won something. Dick, W7WT Contragulations W7WT! There aren't many caches in our area that haven't been found by Dick. Keep on caching! Oh yeah, we're 35, 34, 10, and 10.
  13. GeoLuau here we come!!! We'll see everyone there.
  14. It looks like May 28th is open for us and this sounds like a lot of fun! We're planning on being there.
  15. Oh yeah!!! That's perfect!! This looks really great!!! I will take ____ . Just let me know when.
  16. The coin looks really nice would like to have one, but I don't think we have anything to trade with that you don't already own. Maybe one of these days we will make a coin of our own.
  17. Congratulations to Ruck, L & R and Blindleader
  18. Their tracking system if very interesting. I used to work at the ferries and had to run up on the boats lot. When you're in a building, or when it was foggy out, it was hard to estimate their exact docking time. We'd have our computers linked to this site and could tell how much time we had.
  19. Oohh! Sounds scary! I mean the woods and animals - not you!
  20. Welcome back Bumblingb's! Just letting you know that Shop99er's got a Halloween event planned too. This could be a fun holiday!
  21. Date is already on the calender unless something else comes up we will be there. can't wait.
  22. Well, we can attest to some of the difficulty in these caches. The only one we haven't found yet is #10 Seganku/Seecawk - but we are currently working on it. Some of these we found pretty quickly, but some of them required multiple visits and a lot of work (some blood donation on a couple too). The caches in this area are similar to caches in other areas, some are hard, some are easy, some require a lot of homework, some are just for the numbers (but whose counting anyway?). The kids just enjoy being outdoors - and we enjoy being with our kids. Isn't that what caching is all about anyways - having fun?
