Congratulations! I want to hide my first cache and am not sure how tough it will be to get it listed. I'm not looking forward to the scrutiny I may have to go through. Maybe I'll try a simple one before trying to get the one I have in mind listed then I can learn the process first. :-)

Hi folks I'm new to this and have yet to try out my GPS unit as it is still on it's way to me from NC. I've accidentally found my first cache already and can't wait to intentionally find one. Are there any of you in my area? If so is geocaching a solo sport or can it be a team effort? I'd like to meet others who do this and see what I can learn from talking to you. I intend to use my GPS unit at work as I drive a tractor trailer and to also hunt/hike with it. I've purchased the Topo software for it now I need to get the North American City software too. Do any of you have a Rino GPS or am I the only one in this area with this model? I know I'm loaded with questions.... ;-) Norm
