  1. Unless they've disappeared again, all 3 caches should be findable now. Two were missing but were replaced by their owners on that outing.
  2. OK, I had to look up brummie. Interesting, according to Wikipedia, a brummie won the Album of the Year Grammy last week. They also said Black Country dialect is quite different. I also found Brummie and Black Country Slang words and phrases to be very funny(I guess it is really brummie slang). Speaking of rock stars, we have "Cherry Garcia" "Arse Cream". Arse Cream: Sorry, I couldn't resist!
  3. Florida will teach you American Southern. That won't help at all when you come to the Pacific Northwest. Doesn't everyone from New York and New Jersey retire in Florida? He's going to hear everything but PNW English, because we tend to stay here!
  4. I just had a peek at it too, and it shows that you have two finds on that one. So either your original log was restored or you logged 3 finds on it and only one was deleted. You'll probably want to fix that so you only have one smiley.
  5. Alrighty, I sniff another Red Hook Brewery gathering in the wind...or maybe that's just hops... Quick poll from the locals who might attend - which evening most appeals to you: Tue, Apr 28 Wed, Apr 29 Thur, Apr 30 Let me know, and I'll set up an event. Any of them can work - probably Wed is the best for me.
  6. CONGRATULATIONS, NOLIE! It was nice to share our milestones, if only by phone. Thanks for the good thoughts everyone, I had a really nice day! L-R - Rickie, Ruck, Lucy, Plaidguy, Pandora
  7. I have a stupid question, well maybe two. What is PYN and NSV? I can almost come up with a couple of things for NSV that make sense but PYN? I went with pad your numbers and no significant value. That's a lot less provocative than what I was imagining for PYN...
  8. Doesn't Sunrise in Woodinville allow you to pick up things there that you order online to save on shipping?
  9. If you go through all that trouble, I will try some. (feeling quite safe because if sounds like an all-day ordeal to make it and you'll never find all the mutton offal that goes into it)
  10. You can always make your own. Don't worry, I won't be at all offended if you don't invite me to partake.
  11. NO. NO. NO. BAD. BAD. BAD day for a cache machine. My son graduates from college that day.
  12. As soon as I figure out a date, yes. Otherwise, the thread that everyone will be looking at for the next three months will start out with March season April season March season April season Wabbit season. So, um... timidly... April 18? Don't tell me that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is planning a Haggis Hunt to celebrate Paul Revere Day. No fair, Travis! You will ruin International Juggler's Day and National Animal Crackers Day for me.
  13. Seems like the easiest solution would be to leave the CM on the 28th, have the Groundspeak event on the 4th far away from Pullman, and let Easter remain on the same schedule it has been on for the last 2000-odd years. Sooo, you mean the first Sunday after the first full moon after equinox? More than you want to know on how to calculate Easter

  15. April 12 is Easter, so it's off my calendar. Travis, are you SURE you want to do it on Easter weekend? A lot of people will have family and church obligations that weekend, me included. If you move it to March 21, I'll know for sure the geo-gods do not want me to attend this cache machine. My son graduates from college that day.
  16. Yep, just not tonight for most of us - glad you were there to keep them in line. Too bad, you girls missed their new improved sweet potato fries. Forget the fries, were they breaking in a new cook this time? Like every other time we have gone? I dunno, but they were crinkle cut tonight. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, not greasy - perfect!

  18. Since this gathering is happening the day after tomorrow, we'd better start thinking of a time to meet up. TL?
  19. I bought the chili this afternoon, so that's good!
  20. With this weird temperature inversion that won't go away, is there going to be any snow up there to snowshoe on? I hear it's supposed to snow up there on Saturday night, but that won't help us on Saturday morning.
