  1. Thanks Motorcycle Mama for directing me in the right direction. As it turned out by reading the thread, it was the need to upgrade to Internet Explorer 7. I noticed that I sure wasn't alone in having this issue and hope that if anyone out there has the same problem to try upgrading before throwing the GPS against the wall and burying it in small pieces in the Backyard. Thanks again

  3. I have a Garmin Etrex Venture HC Handheld GPS unit. Until very recently I have always been able to connect my GPS via a USB Cable and download the Coordinates to my GPS. I have discovered today and a few times in the past week where as soon as I tell it to "Send to GPS" I go to another screen telling me to download the latest software. I have done this numerous times and even after it test my GPS and everything seems ok....I am still unable to send to the Garmin. I have also tried this on another Computer, thinking maybe it was the Computer but still getting the same thing. I was wondering if this is a problem on Geocaching.com, or might my problem be some some other nature.

  5. I'm sure this has been discussed many times, but I couldn't find anything on it. We are seeing more and more caches that are supposed to have TBs in them and there is nothing there. So, we come back and check on them and they have been seen in months. It's really depressing. Shouldn't the people who own these trackables mark them missing? I know it can take a little while to post a pick up or drop, but still. It also makes you afraid to put coins out there. It's almost like someone is going to caches and just taking coins. Any advice?
  6. We have taken some to meet their goal. We just released some and they have goals, but just seeing them move and not disappear would be the best thing to see. We got one last night that wants to go to Kentucky. The poor thing started in Ohio and has remained in Ohio for over a year. We are going to see what we can do to get it closer.
  7. I think it would be wonderful as long as the item is not a one-of-a-kind thing. We have thought of doing something for our child who passed away.
