My new cache just published, including Todie's Wild Ride II: It Only Takes One Time... . So, off it goes, beginning at zero miles. I wonder if it will get picked up today?

I thought I'd be able to do more help on the spreadsheet... but I think I suggested that I could do something that would probably take FOREVER. So... I'll update my coins... And lend a hand anywhere I can along the way.

Someone made a great custom vehicle for the nuvi... in 3d mode, it was the blue arrow. in 2d mode, it was a transparent circle with a red heading dot. I can't seem to find it anymore... anyone know where it is?

(@ Rod: At least I didn't leave it on top of my car and drive off... ) Today's a nice clear day, so I'm going to see if I have better luck. If not, I understand that a hard reset of the unit might fix it. I've backed up my data... but I'm not entirely sure how to do a hard reset. Anyone have any experience with that?

Throw it out the window, reverse and then again go forward all while making sure to target the Nuvi. This should clear the memory just enough to help?? Sorry to hear of your troubles, my friend! Suddenly my nuvi seems to have a tough time finding satellites. It was fine yesterday afternoon, and then last night it either couldn't find anything, or was only finding 3 satellites, giving me about 150-300 ft accuracy. There was heavy cloud cover, but I expected it to do better. It has not been dropped or rained on. Any ideas?

He should send the email, instead of just replacing it on his own. Why? The CO may be considering doing something different with that spot. There may have been something wrong with the container already. There may have been something special about that container. The CO might already have a replacement container ready to go, and not care about the money. Besides... confession is good for the soul.

Last night I saw a kid riding his bike home from school. He was in the shoulder, traveling with traffic, wearing a helmet. Why do I mention it? Because the straps on his helmet weren't fastened. If he went flying off his bike, one of the first things to happen would be his helmet flying off his head. Wear your helmet... wear it properly.

It only takes one time... ...without a helmet ...without a seatbelt ...without lights at night ...without reflective clothing ...without looking twice ...without using your mirrors ...to cause an accident or injury. Please ride, bike, or drive safely... every time!

Rod, Thanks for sharing your thoughts and your grief with us. In a one-on-one context, I generally just listen to grief stories without speaking... but in that setting, there is non-verbal feedback. In this case, you don't have the benefit of non-verbal feedback, so I feel the need to simply respond. Small steps... and take all the time you need. Peace, Jon

Seems like the best place for a stash note ought to be right on the underside of the lid (for a lock-n-lock). So... if you attach your stash sheet to the lid of a L-n-L, how do you do it? Scotch tape? clear packing tape? Laminated... then clear packing tape? Some sort of clear spray adhesive? Rubber Cement? Lacquer? Other?

Can I ask a rule clarification question? I intend to have my first cache published soon, but it won't make the Sept. 30 deadline. Can I activate a coin, enter it in the race, and drop it in the unpublished cache?
