What the hell is a member only cache away and grow up...I was in here when geocaching was starting out....its not exclusive and shouldnt be...If you want a private club away and launch your own egnos.

I am fed up with the plethora of micro minis...Jings there are hundreds springing up everywhere...Lets get back to the ammo boxes and real swaps...My caches are still out there with quality swaps... Apologies for the rant..However I'm cheesed off having to take a pencil to log the thing..and then theres no room to leave Tb or anything else. In my opinion its not clever smart or anything else just boring.

I suppose if its too hard or cumbersome to find the owner then either dont bother placing the cache..or make an informed judgement if it will be a problem. However Please note I am not criticising /getting at/or otherwise in the humph..with our intrepid approvers... A very well done you two. And I mean that.

In some circumstances it is virtually impossible to track down a landowner for permission...in others...permission has been given by the landowner only for the brother of said landowner to give cachers grief re"naebody asked me" well they didnt cos hey didnt need to ask him....However as much as i am all in favour of correct procedures if they become too cumbersome...well what the heck...I('ll go sailing and ultimately geocaching will die a death...as in Health & safety Exuctive guidelines...if i set a cache will I need to fill in a risk assesment form in case anyone doing my cache crashes on the A9 before getting to the actual site.....dont change wot doesnt need fixed.

I just paid 30 dollars on the 17 december to rrenew my membership...and despite thousands (Well maybe not) e-mails to Groundspeak they've still got me a s a basic member....I've tried all the gerryyboams and stuff and there aint no S- number to upgrade ...so Have they nicked my 30 dollars or am ah gonny get the cash back an try again.

Its all far too serious peeps. whats the difference of a travel bug which hovers arou nd another cache site. Its a game ...I repeat its a game...games are ruined adherence to striuct rules. Ok Ok I know you need rules or it aint agame. However whats the problem here if the overall ethics of geocaching is followed. Anyway a travel bug has its own rules and mission ... let it go. Its FUN. Personally methinks I'll chuck the forums and just go caching then i will be unaware of the ethical nonsense which is beginning to prevail.

Hello peeps, Well, latin is universal and pretty stylish methinks. if its in Scots Irish or other gaelic verse then it will be lost on a lot of people. (perhaps ythats why all the mottos of regiments etc etc are in latin .
