  1. Once more for those in the back of the room
  2. Increased resolution test
  3. If you happen to be near Eugene you could try these two at Fern Ridge Reservoir.. Gibson Girl and High Water both easily accessable flat water paddle ( about an hour round trip from put in at G Dog #2 Guard Rail) There are plenty of other caches located at local boat ramps along both the Willamette and McKenzie as well.
  4. You know that feeling ? The one you get after you have solved a particularly challenging puzzle ( perhaps a 5/5 micro ?? ) Well I got to experience that feeling at 2:20 a.m. today !!!! I have figured out the complexities of the gpx file transfer to PDA.... so I am now Cachin' Paper-less (cover your eyes) Thanks for the valuable input y'all
  5. Thanks to one and all who have responded.... having said that I must admit that I'm still struggling. I chose to use spinner+plucker combination and I have succesfully followed the instructions I printed from gpxspinner.com ..... I generated a pocket query, I drag-n-dropped zip file into spinner ( parse darn it, parse), I used the plucker page to create a new channel set, starting page,etc.etc.and "hotsync'd" my palm with my desk top.... and Violla !! I now have LOTS of code to read on a tiny screen instead of what I was hoping to have ( pages that looked alot like the paper ones I'm used to- albeit smaller ) Anyone have any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong ???? Thanks
  6. I have been reading through the forums (and have followed many threads on this subject) but I am still a little confused about the options for file converters that will enable me to download cache information into my PDA. I just got a Palm Zire 21 for my birthday, I upgraded my GC account to Premium Member to allow me to run pocket queries and I am not sure which programs I want to install to go paper-less. Is this merely a question of preference or are there MAJOR diferences between the programs. I have already been to Northeast Geocaching, Maryland Geocaching Society, and Geocacher University which all had good info. but I am still confused.... Any feedback would be appreciated. P.S. I made my 100th find yesterday at 'The Original Geocache Plaque Site'~Happy Birthday to me !
