  1. This is not a bug, moreso a request. I much preferred google maps to the current Apple maps, noticing that it showed more detail in its maps, and especially in satellite view, you could zoom in much closer. I know the API is available, so It would be great (even as a 2nd option) to include in the future!
  2. Great update! just 2 issues: Where did 'waypoint add' go? The little flag button is gone. Also, I miss the physical +/- buttons for the map. Now I need 2 fingers to zoom, and its hard to walk while using the all with both hands
  3. I re-discovered a bug in the app: When opening a cache-page from another link, it opens safari and asks whether to view on www.geocaching.com or on the geocaching app. You choose the app, but then it just goes to the app homepage, instead of going to the cache you were linking to.
  4. You can add a favorite point after selecting 'Found It.'
  5. In general, I really like this update. Especially the fact that caches on the map turn to smileys RIGHT after logging them. The only bug I've found (and my dad has the same problem) is that we use satellite view the majority of the time, but the app randomly reverts the view back to the street-map view...
  6. I actually noticed the opposite. My app works much more fluidly now, especially after I've logged many caches it would slow down tremendously, but now It's much better
  7. Does anyone know any way to (probably using a 3rd party app) search through all of my previous logs? I want to start keeping track of my FTF's (Now I probably have about 10), but I never marked them down. I want to search my previous logs for "FTF", and then read through the logs and see which ones I was FTF on. Thanks in advance!

    FTF Count

I think counting your FTF's is important to any geocacher [and would promote users to buy premium accounts in order to get more FTF's]. First, when you log a cache, there would be a check-box right next to the "add favorite point," "encrypt this log," and "Add a coordinate to this log" checkboxes on the log page. You would click this box if you are FTF, and it would send a notification to the cache owner to choose FTF's for the cache. The cache owner would then go to the cache's page and see little check boxes next to everyone's logs so the CO can read through the logs and see who the first person [our group of people] found the cache, and check them off. Now the FTF's are accounted for. I don't think this would be too difficult to implement, but it would make cachers happy, and promote premium accounts
  9. Just tried it and it worked! Thank you for your help!
  10. I have been using the geocaching iPhone app for a few years now, and I just got the premium membership, but the premium-member-only geocaches didn't show up on the list view or map. (But when I type in the GC code, I can see the cache.) Since you can no longer "log out" of the newest version of the iPhone app, I tried making a fake geocaching account and logged into the fake account, and then back to my own, and now luck. Does anyone know how else I could fix the problem? If someone could respond ASAP, that would be great so I can grab the premium caches today!
