  1. We too would like to add a few new states to our found list.
  2. Try this... http://www.garmin.com/products/iQue3000/ GPS and PDA all in one...
  3. Applied back in the second day of the promotion. No TB has arrived yet. Still eagerly waiting.
  4. I'd pay a couple bucks for the archives on a CD or DVD. So, count me in. It was a most awsume effort by all that were involved. Thank you for your time and effort in putting this together.
  5. Is there any way to check to see if ours has shipped? We put in for one back on the second day and still haven't received it. We had the same issue with the Green Jeeps. Sent in for one, but it never showed up. Our kids also put in for one and theirs hasn't shown up yet either.
  6. Agreed... As long as it increases my find count, then it is not lame. Everyone plays the game to their own liking. If I can find it, it is not lame. Even if I can't find it, it is still not lame, just well hidden.
  7. I, too, am confused over the decision to support this where cachers can move a travel bug with an agenda, but not hold an event to collect "Toys for Tots." Unlike the quoted poster, I have ordered my TB, as my mother, her mother, my wife and her mother have this disease. I do give kudos to Groundspeak for their effort, but question the guidelines on agenda events.
  8. NEXTEL has the feature for our cell phones. I can log onto nextel.com and see exactly where all the phones on my account are currently located. Only thing is, if the phone gets turned off, so does the tracking, but the kids know that they are in deep doo doo if they turn off their phones while away from home. I haven't had to use it to monitor their activity yet, as they still respect their parents and the rules of the house. And they know that if I want to I can log in and locate them.
  9. Only half of the links on ours work this week. We are using Gmail.
  10. The antenna ball is on the wife's van, I have the sticker on my truck and was chased across a parking lot by a UPS truck whose driver was a cacher. Just happened that he was looking for a cache very near the building and needed a hint, so we chatted for a bit and found the cache.
  11. Since Crow T Robot was already nominated, We will nominate the other Florida reviewers... palmetto BoJaB They are all GREAT!
  12. Mr SuzyQ with Mission 7 Ape Cache Container.
  13. 7am EDT, still down. Withdrawls setting in...
  14. We found at Cracker Barrel, the Crayola 8 crayon metal tins hold stickers and geo coins quite well. Haven't found any, but have 2 of them placed.
  15. My parents have a 1GB card and have all of the eastern seaboard loaded from Maine to Florida all the way over to the Mississippi river. city Select only and have about 350 MB free space.
  16. You pretty much have it covered. One thing we have found is if you can contact the loacl geocaching group via their website, they can point you in the right direction for the caches you are wanting to find. Some may even get a group together and intorduce you to the local cachers to put names with faces and such. We are like that here in NEFGA land. If you are heading our way, drop by our forums and post up, someone will gladly set you in the right direction or even give you a caching tour.
  17. Looking forward to spending some time in NC. See you there.
  18. I found this cable on Garmins site. Not sure if they are available on ebay or not, but if you are looking to hardwire it in, then your best bet is to use the one from Garmin to avoid any electrical issues that may fry your unit... http://shop.garmin.com/accessory.jsp?sku=010%2D10082%2D00
  19. We have certain puzzle caches and multis on our ignore list. Not driven by size, but one on the list is posted coords 5 miles from home, actual coords are 89.7 miles from home, so we are not likely to find it, so we ignored it. As for placements, we hide what we want. Find it if you want, if you pass it up, then it's your loss, not ours.
  20. Still waiting for ours. Sent in the form during the first week of distribution, but still no Jeep.
  21. Still working on naming that nRoute feature that I hook my 60c too, that is one sexy voice. But my parents have a Garmin iQue 3600 that they have deemed "Edna" beacuse they say the voice sounds like their friend Edna.
  22. Ocean Lakes Family Campgrounds in Myrtle Beach, SC has their coords on their website.
  23. After spending 12 years in the US Navy, I found that the bouys are not as permenant as you think. They are changed out on a regular basis for maintenance.
