  1. Is there a list somewhere of the 20 people that have made it. What about finds in all states plus all the provinces of Canada? I heard a rumor that there was only one person who had done that one.
  2. My personal record, and as far as I know it still stands as a world record, is 90 in one day. Solo. Not a team effort. Done on 11/1/04 in the Lancaster/Palmdale area of California.
  3. That would be true and correct. Solo No driver No team No lifelines Nobody holding the door Solo Just me and 2 GPSr, 2 PB&J sandwiches, 2 bologna sandwiches, 1 qt of coffee, 4 Diet Pepsi, some Snickers bars and a few male Hersey Bars.(with nuts) 21.25 hours from start to finish. Midnight to 9:18 PM. 170 miles driven. I earlier said 40 gals of gas but it was more like 28 for the actual asssault. 1 hour lost to road construction/closures and a "closed for a fishing derby" park with three I couldn't get to followed by another hour when my F-250 4x4 got terminally stuck in the mud. (and then I still didn't find that particular cache). About 30 DNF's and another 25 "Did Not Try" Generally speaking, in retrospect, it was a lot of fun. Many of my friends have questioned my sanity for doing it in the first place but on the other hand I kind of like "Psycho" as a nick name and besides so many friends have made great suggestions for the future. Like "Get a life". Now, on to the next challenge.
  4. Sure does! It counts for six. After all, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Keep up the good work.
  5. Actually I started at midnight and got to the last one at 9:18 PM. I also lost 1 hour to construction and road work and closed parks and another hour to getting majorly stuck in some clay type mud so that would make the per hour count slightly higher.
