  1. I was trying to "comment out" a portion of a paragraph on one of my sites. Used a <!-- -->.. And it crashed a major portion of the site, making the map invisible, all visitor comments and notes invisible, and not allowing any edit. Also when editing, I can now see all the html for the entire page! Site is: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=97031 I've tried to email Groundspeak with no response.
  2. Just emailed the cache owner: User ooga booga has been emailed with the following message: My wife is in Shanghai and is trying to log her TB to your virtual cache "It's a Bird, It's a plane..". The Groundspeak forums have changed the TB hand off at a virtual cache rules not allowing a handoff, unless the owners change them to "unknowns" whatever that means. Could you do a real big favor and change your "it's a bird" cache to an unknown for a couple days so my wife can photograph the TB with the bronze sculptures????? thanks!
  3. RATS! And I have just sent my wife with the TB in Shanghai to a Virtual Site so we can get the TB officially logged in to China. Can somebody explain the "unknown" site to me? Wife leaves Shanghai tomorrow and we despirately want to get the Br'er Bear TB officially in Shanghai.
  4. I retrieved a TB and sent him on his way to China with my wife. She will be stopping off in San Francisco, Tokyo, Shanghai, Kunming, and Dali before returning to Shanghai and turning over the bug to another geocacher. The question is, I would like to report the positions of each "sighting" of the bug which will have accompanying photos to document the bug's travels. But there is no provision to report positions other than dropping in a cache. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to log positions so that the travels of the TB can be accurately plotted?
  5. Do you reprogram the RINO 120 for rechargeable batteries when you do this? I might have been imagining things, but my rechargeables were almost completely discharged and after a few hours connected to the lighter adaptor, I had a full charge again...
  6. Hi - the 120 indeed is programmable between rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries. Go to main menu, then setup. You will see it!
  7. Have a RINO 110 and a 120. Peer to peer positioning works well. These two units do not autopoll (but I thing two 120's will). Strongly suggest getting the topo maps uploaded, as they help significantly in geocache locating. We walked around a lake in Oregon and was able to track the other Rino against the lake with no problem. You can adjust the contrast of the screen to be more visible in differing lighting conditions. Bought a cigarette lighter power cord, and find it charges rechargeable batteries when it is hooked up. At trail heads you can log in that you have a RINO and log the channel/code you are using in case people have to go looking for you... not only can they talk to you.. they can see where you are!! I love this little system and want to get another 120.
  8. One month old Garmin RINO 110 for sale. Best offer. My location Houston TX. Will ship at expense of purchaser.
