I have a RAM mount for my ancient 76 and it sux. It folds and distorts the data/power port rubber cover if you use it with the cover open (like whenever you use shore power or data link). The overall design is difficult to get the device in and out of the mount.

This is great stuff, guys, appreciate all the work on this! Question: can an old GPS like my low-and-slow GPSMap76 be used for downloading these custom maps? I realize that the size/qty of maps would be limited....is the serarate writable SD memory a requirement for this process to work?
