Good. The big advantage I see to distributing it as a single file, as that its an 'all or nothing' play. So if it doesn't work, you know its something with the download. I've had quite a few people lately come to me with problems that turned out to be download related (because MapUpdate isn't well tolerant of faults).
The disadvantage is also that its all or nothing. You can't try a few times to get everything and get a bit right at a time, which means that it may take longer to get the file.
We'll see how it goes in general.
