  1. Good grief, sorry about the double posts. I fought to try and upgrade to 2009 on my Mac. After some ill-fated attempts to contact Garmin I finally get someone there who tells me that there's a bug on the Mac side. I had to go to the windows side of my MBP running bootcamp and install the maps to my Colorado, then use the windows software to generate the unlock code. After doing this I was able to unlock 2009 on Bobcat on the Mac side, and the Colorado has the new maps, it was a pain!
  2. Well, I still haven't heard from Garmin, but I was able to finish the install on my own last night. I installed the maps from the PC side of my Mac running bootcamp onto my Colorado. Now Bobcat has the working 16 digit code for 2009, and Colorado has the maps too! Everything is working, although it was a pain having to do most of the work from the PC side since the Mac side was essentially useless!
  3. Well, here's my update. Still haven't received an email answer from Garmin. Don't have the time to make a third phone call, wait in the que, only to be immediately placed in another que to talk to the Mac people after 30 seconds with the first human! I played more on the Window's side and downloaded the map update and ran the windows programs and was able to get the 16 digit code. I went back to the mac side, using this code Bobcat accepted the code and I now see the 2009 maps. However, on the Colorado itself, I am only seeing access to the 2008 maps, although the map loaded seemed to work. I think my next step is to try and install the maps to the Colorado on the Windows side. To the previous poster, log in to mygarmin.com and look around the map area, that is where I saw the upgrade information.
  4. I am having the same issues! Two calls to Garmin, and I am still not fixed. They tell me it's a known issue. I was asked to register the product using Windows, which I did after this last call. Now the Nav 2009 shows up in my product list on mygarmin.com. However, when I go back to the Mac side, Bobcat's still not seeing the product as unlocked. I tried emailing Garmin this time, I don't have the time to wait on hold until the first person takes my call and then has to pass me on to the Mac specialists.
  5. I'm flustered tonight, hopefully someone can help. I ordered City Nav NT 2008 full version for my Colorado. Well, REI sent me the wrong DVD, but with Garmin's help I was able to convert it and get it to the Mac. The maps show up in Bobcat, but I can't get them onto the Colorado. I copied another set onto an SD card and put that in the Colorado. The only map option I have in the Colorado is for Topo US 2008. Also, How do I get the Topo maps to Bobcat? Bobcat only shows the City Nav maps and US Basemap V2 as my choices! UPDATE: Solved the problem of getting the maps to the Garmin, now is there a way to get the Topo maps taht came on the Garmin into Bobcat? Problem was that I didn't have MapInstall loaded, just MapUpdate..>UGH Thanks, Jeff
  6. Can anyone give me some advice? I downloaded the Mac version and installed it. However in Bobcat, I don't see anything below outlines of counties. I have gone from state-to-state to make sure I have looked at the states that show being done. I found a little more detail in one area of Ontario and that was it! Also, how do I push these maps from Bobcat to my Colorado? Thanks in advance, Jeff.
