1. It makes a great paperweight, to keep your cache print-outs from blowing around. By the way, does anyone know how to get GSAK to run on my Commodore PET? If you have the 8080 drive for the Pet we could write something that would do the same thing as GSAK. TO show how old I am I used to code machine language for the pet all the time.
2. Dozens??? Let see, You,me, those other guys, carry the one,... I guess it is dozens. wow who would have thunk it.
3. I accept your apology..... Also my last post.
4. over 30 complaints about this and only 3-5 thank you's. Its a shame that a good thing can't get the same press that a supposed bad thing does.
5. If you are going to do something like this at least spend a little effort and use the search function to try to find it. Its out there
6. I called the trouble line, then should have it fixed in a while. Thanks for reporting the problem.
7. Here are the steps to find out if your account is renewing or non renewing: 1. Login to your paypal account at www.paypal.com 2. Click on the History subtab 3. Click on Details of the subscription in question 4. Click on the number next to "In reference to:" above the Related Transaction section. 5. Look at Subscription Terms: Renewing: 30.00 U.S. Dollars for each year Nonrenewing: 30.00 U.S. Dollars for one year If your account is not setup to renew automatically and you would like to continue as a Premium Member you can create a new subscription using the links on this page: www.geocaching.com/subscribe Thanks for the support of the site!
8. And For the record. No you would not have gotten a refund if you had purchased another membership because the error was on your end not Groundspeak's.
9. The territory in which a geocacher is able to maintain caches responsibly will vary from one person to the next. An active geocacher who regularly visits areas hundreds of miles apart can demonstrate their ability to maintain a cache 100 miles from home. A geocacher whose previous finds and hides are all within 25 miles of their home would likely not see their cache published if placed 250 miles away from their home. http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#maint
10. I tried to do that with two caches, though tabs aren't required, a second window in IE does the same thing. Unfortunately I forgot to check which state one cache was in, so it didn't go through. By the time I checked and resubmitted it I'd lost one number so I now have GCZ7D0 and GCZ7D2. Last I checked GCZ7D1 still hasn't been published, { Sorry, you cannot view this cache listing until it has been published.} some one just grabbed it to use up the six digit numbers is my guess. OR Someone took it for a legitimate cache that they are not finished working on. Boy I bet they will feel bad when they see your mad face about them. When I placed the caches in early November I thought that way to, now I have serious doubts about it. The cool thing about being a reviewer is I can see pages that are out of the queue. Its being worked on. Even if it wasn't you made the mistake and didn't get the one you wanted. Its your problem not theirs. If they never publish the cache its still because you made a mistake and didn't get the number you wanted. Its not their problem!

12. If you look at the ToU of the <deleted> members you will see that section 4.C.3.002a prohibits the discussion of flavors. Please dont make me <deleted by moderator> you.
13. 2 things. 1: it will be Disney not Google that buys Groundspeak. 2: Platinum memberships are not included in the member counts. Their numbers are counted on the "other" site. There is no concern. These are not the droids you are looking for. You can go about your business.
14. Hiya, Rebel! Last time I saw you, you were riding around on a 4-wheeler setting out event caches! It apparently expired in late November. I did a few searches in the forums and found places where people had gotten their status reset after being expired for "a few months," so I didn't expect a problem. Are you set up for yearly or monthly?

i wish..

I bet if you contact your reviewer they might share a trick or two with you.
16. Because Groundspeak chooses not to list those stats. Before you ask why not I suggest you write contact@geocaching.com and ask them directly.
17. You could also white list Geocaching.com and solve the problem on your end.
18. The short answer is no. That information is not made avalible.
19. Your email is breaking the links into separate lines instead of wrapping them. This prevents you from getting the entire link when you click on it. You will need to cut and paste all the sections of the link in order for it to work correctly.
20. Yes that works for the 1 item to sell situation. I guess I am refering to the individual that has created an item or product that geocachers might be interested in. ie unique hidden caches, gear, etc. You should find this portion of the forum guidelines very interesting. The answer to your request is that it is not allowed.
21. You should be asking the Where's George website if its ok. They were the ones that said it was not ok before. Groundspeak can not speak for the Where's George website.
22. So basically you just muggled a cache that might be listed on another service like Terracaching or Navacache? Or was listed on the owners personal web page?
23. what you describe is typical of not having the computer set to have cookies accepted from the site. Please make sure that the computer is set to accept cookies from Geocaching.com and this problem will go away.
24. This is how it would look. Text You Enter Here Is How Link Will Look This would then look like this: Text You Enter Here Is How Link Will Look FYI the "code" button allows you to write UBB code that is not processed only printed. This site uses UBB not HTML
25. Pink pony's are not real. Thats just absurd. Kimono is Purple. As any smart person knows all the good pony's are purple. Pink....sheesh! A portion of all Platinum membership fees go to keeping an emergency stockpile of Chemical X in reserve just in case there is a shortage. Signal is protected from any shortage by this reserve.
