My mom leaves little duckies that have different costumes on. I dont know that she's known as the duck lady in that area though lol

Like others, our first cache was a DNF. We were doing it without a GPS, but knew the area very well, and yet, we couldn't find it. We eventually moved on to a few others, and a few months down the road the origional cache we searched for was archived. Seems it had been missing awhile....made us feel not so bad lol.

I totally understand this. I hate having to dig around in places like that looking for a cache as well. I cache in two basica places, Ohio and Texas. I have yet to find a cache in TX that requires a tool or to rumage around in inappropriate places. However in some Ohio caches I've looked for I've found some in inappropriate places. Anyways, my point it, if people didn't hide them where they shouldnt, people wouldnt be inclined to look where it shouldnt be.

Hi there. I'm pretty new to caching, been at it for a little over a month. I just moved from Ohio to Texas and I was pretty bored when i first got here. My mother geocaches and she suggested my husband and I try it. We ended up loving it and currently have about 80 finds. I guess you'd say I'm a lurker here on the forums since this is my first post.
