  1. How cool is this. I want to thank the person who was nice enough to send me the Dark Knight coin I got in the mail today. This great coin will have a very special and safe place in my collection. Thanks for thinking of me Chris-Team Shydog
  2. I have site #108 for both Friday and Saturday nights. I can't wait. Chris
  3. Thanks, It should be a blast.
  4. Having never camped at the Dunes, what are some of the good sites to pick and have you got one yet Amber?
  5. You don't see that too often!!
  6. Don't let Roy mix up the dates this year! It is August 7-10th. Make sure you stop by and find me in Area 51.
  7. Geobash is what you want to make out of it. I have been to all of them so far and plan on continuing that streak as long as they keep having them. I tend to socialize at events rather then cache, so the BASH is a great place for me. I can wander around and meet new cachers from across the country as well as hang out with the old crew. Just think a big camp out, with Ice Cream If you are into trading coins or pathtags there are plenty of opportunities to do that. It looks like they are adding more fun things to do this year. The Parrot is the mascot this year and with that comes the Pirate theme as well. So I do believe there will be plenty of great/terrible accents being spoken as well as some grog being shared (For those over 21 years of age, Indiana state law you know ). Speaking of which, if you stay until the sun goes down, Area 51 is the place to be. FUN,FUN,FUN... So don't be shy, meet as many people as you can, find some caches and just enjoy the heck out of the time you spend at the BASH. Drop by the forums over on the Geobash website for more details. 8. Glad to hear that, I was beginning to think no one wanted to camp by me. JPlus14 will also be staying at my campsite, just make sure you don't mention anything that deals with bears to him Chris-Team Shydog
  9. Thanks to everyone that came out for the CICO event. I think we did a good thing. Here is Leaddog with his World Record Trophy for Most Archived Caches in One Day( Just waiting to hear back from Guinness ) And the Newest Indiana Geopup "Izzy". Her humans are Treasure Hunting Family.
  10. Oh MY!! I took that as "I Luv Wet Willys", so that means you will still have to make a payment to the B.A.G.O. Bathroom Remodeling fund if you want to come hang out with us Indiana cachers again next year
  11. Welcome to the fun Kitrona, the first cache find is always a great feeling. Congratulations. Some advice I would pass on is to look for regular size traditional caches until you get a few more cache finds under your belt. Avoid micros if you can for the time being, these little guys still stump the most experienced cachers at times. And if you can't find caches, then the game will lose it's fun feeling. Have fun . 12. Here is the thread that was mentioned, CYBrett bumped this back on May 6. Thanks for keeping us informed. Link to DNR thread

Those look great! Nice job. Chris-Team Shydog GEOISQ
  14. It looks like that darn Duck forgot to pay for the Domain name when he left last year, or maybe it is the Chicken that is causing havoc. Either way, the site was working last night, and it was down this morning when I left for work at 5am. The Bash is going to be back at Kendallville, IN. The dates are August 7-10. I am looking forward to another fun time. The page for the event is GC154HT.
  15. OK all you Hoosier cachers, no forum reading today. Get out the door and head up to the Spring Picnic!! I am out the door in about an hour. Cache,Cache,Cache...
  16. I am seeking the Rainbow Bridge coin, any finish. No trade list, but I am sure I can come up with something of interest. Thanks, Chris-Team Shydog
  17. Great choice on the GPS. That is what I use and it is does everything I want it to do(except pick the winning lottery numbers ) Chris-Team Shydog
  18. Lack of sleep and pure boredom on my part, Sorry
  19. I also got the cords today for the shelter that I plan on hosting an event on June 15th at. A nice little gathering to help with removing any caches left in the Salamonie area. I will be putting it in for review tomorrow. I contacted Tricky about adding his caches to the list of caches that we will focus on that day. He was open to the help. Of course since it is an event in Indiana, there HAS to be food (Right Bret)!! So hot dogs and maybe sloppy joes is the menu for the day. More details to follow when I make them up. Chris
  20. So how many finds did YOU come up with today???? I squeaked out 7 today, but then I was without a co-pilot. Oh yea, I also got a Geocaching Permit approved and placed one while I was at it. Darn, if you would have waited a few days you could have gotten a FTF That was all before heading up to Ft. Wayne for the Flash mob event. Why do they call it a FLASH mob event when I saw absolutely NO flashing?
  21. Not a bad day for two GIRLS Thanks for grabbing two of mine.
  22. I have a BIG favor to ask of anyone going out to Salamonie to cache and retrieve Lead Dogs' or other caches, If you are a premium member will you please make a bookmark list of any and all caches that you remove. If you can not make a bookmark list, please email the the Waypoints of the caches you remove from the Salamonie area. At the least, please let me know that you did remove some caches and I will check your finds. There is a reason for this, just give me a few days to work it out. Right off the top of my head I am thinking the weekend of June 14-15 would be a fun weekend to come caching in Northern Indiana. June 14th- NEI-GEO Trail Mix June 15th-? ? Chris-Team Shydog
  23. Yes it is. It is the Earthcache inside the walls. Great hike!! Well worth the trip. Just save so energy and water for the trip out.
