  1. I need assistance from anyone in Nunavut, specifically Queen Eliz. Islands. What I am after is someone capable of taking a picture of themselves and their GPS at the following Coordinates, N74 43.360 you can pick any set of West coords you want. Then email me the picture. If interested please email me (phideo) to discuss further. Sorry for being so vague here!
  2. GPS units are never acurate to the 1ft mark so don't expect it to always guide you right to it. Plus your unit could be off by 20ft (or more) coupled with the owner of the caches unit could also be off by 20ft. That being said 60ft is rather a long way off. Better check the coords listed on the cache to your 'current' coords on your unit. Someone could have moved the cache from its original hiding spot.
  3. Does anyone know a way around this problem: If I select one or more waypoints to D/L from page one and select next for page two and select some more to donwload there, I lose the selections from the first page. Is there away around this? or am I doing this wrong? or is it simply designed this way and is a limitation GC.COM has. I would like to select all Caches in a certain zipcode area and have them d/l to easygps.
  4. quote:Originally posted by Firehouse16 & Code3:I was curious too about this .10 mile rule. Yesterday I was searching for caches to hunt and I found several places where caches are not abiding by the rule, some seem to be within feet of other caches. Thoughts? Firehouse16 & Code3 "Dave, Teresa & the 2 kids" I too have searched for caches that come close to breaking this rule. Personally I don't like them bunched too close, and a rule is a rule! I wish people would abide by them.
  5. Oh Duh!!! that makes perfect sense, just never searched by that method. Then again haven't placed a cache yet either....
  6. Thanks all, I wasn't aware this existed on the "hide & Seek" page. I look a little closer.
  7. When placing a cache what is the best way to ensure you meet the .10 (apart) distance rule. Is there a site anyone knows that allows you to enter your hidden coords and reports the closest cache to it? If not wouldn't that be nice to have.
  8. Is it just me or are the links NOT working in the forums by region/state. If I take the link for "Northeast" I appear to see postings; however if I try to drill down lower to, lets say, Maryland it appears to show me all the cache listings for Maryland not posts....
