  1. I met a cacher at Geowoodstock VI named "Nudecacher" ... he then informed me that he gets nude at each cache and takes a photo. Check out his profile if you don't believe me...

OMG! How does he get away with it? I wonder if he's ever been caught with so many pics taken?

  2. Here is an idea? Have a World Wide Geocoin Secret Agent Flash Mob event like the WWFM events? See how many events can get published on gc.com by a certain date for like a 15 min event. Everyone who attends must try to dress up like the secret agent, have a group picture taken and posted on gc.com, coins can be exchanged there? A GSA cache must be published in the general area of events (optional?). I think the WWFM events really did a lot for Podcacher in promoting geocaching and would get the most people into it plus I think it would become a big hit and probably become a yearly thing?

P.S. since we have already won a v2 coin, if this wins then I would be glad to drop the coin in one of our local caches or let someone else who posts here have it?

  3. I found the traveling cache today! Yes, found it is the right saying... it was not in my mailbox, but in my e-mailbox I found a message that I should search in a bush in front of the house where I live  And there it was, well hidden, waiting for me

I guess Tschakko tried to give it to me directly (we don't live that far away from each other) but I wasn't at home. The Cache doesn't fit in my mailbox, so he hid it and send me the message where to search :o

    Thanks a lot!

Now let's see who will receive it :o:o

LOL, now that is pretty neat!

LOL, yes that is pretty neat! Very creative of you Tschakko:) Nice job.

  4. Congratulations, fairyhoney for being #2 with #2. :o

Question: If one has had a visit from Witch # 1 can one still be visited by Witch # 2 or is one off the list? I'm not being greedy here but the question was asked of me last weekend & I thought I would ask here. Thanks,

    Hi all,

I'm glad to see the sisters are completing their missions so quickly and keep on flying:) I've been out of town over a week and it seems they have had a couple of stops since I last checked. Congrats to the recipient's so far.

To answer the above question, the answer is yes. It really is up to the last person who receives them to decide who they go to but I'm sure they will cross the same recipient's path's eventually since these are contiuous missions but I would like to see them go to different people for a while.

EDIT: Don't forget to place your entries to name the sisters. I'll leave it open til tomorrow night around 8pm (est) and then I'll post all the names that have been entered and then we all can vote for the names we like just for fun.

  5. Hi all,

Well we finally got back home. Chip's uncle died last week and we have been out of town but we had some nice packages to come home to. We got a couple of R2D2 Domeheads, a Deadman's hand trade from Joranda, and the Podcacher geocoin we won from the Podcacher TB contest.

  6. I just had to post this again from the other thread. Thank you again so much geocaching angel!

Well, I can't stop crying! But it's a good cry in a way? About 4 or 5 hrs ago we found out that Chip's uncle in SC just passed away. He had mesopheleoma (spelling?) and Chip's parents have been down there helping take care of him for a couple of weeks now. Chip felt pretty close to this uncle since he used to come up here to visit every so often. Well, we had a good cry together and settled down some and then about an hr later Chip goes out to get the mail. He comes back with a bubble mailer and an envelope, looks at them and hands them both to me and says "it must be some of your trades?" I look at the bubble mailer and know it's the coin I ordered from Austrailia but then I look at the regular business size envelope and I start bawling again because it has sticker from the gifter on it! Chip looks at me and I said "Do you know what this is?" I said "This is a sign that everything with your uncle is ok and he is being taken care of now. I opened the envelope and sure enough it was the geocaching angel coin!!! This couldn't have come at a better time. It immediately reminded me of the rainbows I saw at both my grandfather's funerals! I also took those as a sign that everything was ok with them too. Thank you so much Geocaching Angel!!! I know God works in mysterious way and used your great deed to let us know that his uncle is at peace now and actually has comforted us in that fact. Thank you ever so much! I'll post a pic later on after we get back but now we have to go make some arrangement. Thank you.

  8. Question for GSA:

Has the V1 of the GSA now been retired? If so, how many have been distributed to all the agents out there? Also, is the silver version and the gold version of the latest coin considered to be V2 and V3 or is there still a V3 to come? Curious agents would like to know but we all know what curiosity did to the cat and it can get some agents killed? I totally understand if this is Top Secret Information though

  9. Does anyone know where I can get a bunch of travel bug tags for under $4? I know I got them somewhere before when they were on sale but I can't remember where and even if I remember where they probably would not still be on sale? We have a local group annual picnic event at the end of Aug. and I was hoping to send out a bunch of travel bugs? Any info is appreciated.

    Nora

  10. Ok, contestants I have the 12 coin pages done for the traveling mission race. All I need to do now is write up the missions on index cards and attach them to the coins. Please look over your coin pages and let me know if the information is correct as far as GC#, name of cache, and location of cache. If you have any suggestions on anything else I could put on the pages please let me know in plenty of time before the launching event on Aug 30. Thank you. I'll post again once the index cards are done and attached to the coins.

  11. We probably won't register til close to the date if we are able to make it. It depends on how our van is running (have to get some repairs), the money we have at the time, and the gas prices? Hope we can make it?

  12. Haha, I don't have enough coins yet to really start displaying them, but this is where I keep them so I know where they all are at one time. It is an envelope that I received from WriteShopRobert with my raffle tickets.

LOL, that's what my collection looked like when I started (for about a week maybe two) but then look what happened!

  13. Don't have any coins yet, so no display. The carousel is beautiful, a lot of love must have gone into building it. :o

cachecrashers4 , Shoot me a email through my profile with your address, It would be my pleasure to gift you your first Geocoin :D , It comes with a disclaimer though , I can't be acountable for a future Geocoin addiction :D

    Glenn

LOL, No disclaimers Glenn! It's all your fault! You got me hooked! I'm a geocoin junkie because of you :D:huh::huh:;):o;)

    P.S. But I'm not complaining though :)

  14. CONGRATULATIONS to all the recent recievers of this awesome GSA coin. The missions have been great fun to watch. The pictures have all been very entertaining and funny!

Geo.Error, I hope your dog gets the rest it needs from being on missions with you. I think no one would expect a dog as an agent! Good luck!

I totally agree! Congrats to all the newest agents. I also think Error would make an excellent agent! He would never be suspected as an agent? I'm sure he could sniff out all the suspects in a flash!

  15. Woooohooooo! We've had a wonderful week. Along with a few of the trades and coins we purchased we got TWO mystery coins within 1 week!!! Unbelievable!!! The first we got the other day. Totally unexpected was the mickey diver coin and today the V2 of the Mystery Agent coin from his cointest. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH MICKEY DIVER AND SECRET AGENT!!! These will be cherished always!

I just saw the Death Before Dishonor coins in the mailbox thread! I would love one of those! I'm a real trekkie! I've even met and had my picture taken with "Scotty" several yrs back. Actually any trekkie coin or pathtag is my hearts desire too.
