  2. Here's a cache that has been known for the Paranormal. Black's Ravine GCC331 Here's a link about it. http://www.chadlewis.com/files_spectrology/devils_punch_bowl.html Awesome place. Jr Viper Team
  3. quote:Originally posted by hermione:What drives me nuts is when a cacher attaches their signature item to someone else's TB. There's someone in my neck of the woods that does that, and to me that's like claiming ownership of that item. The first time I saw this particular person's wooden nickel on a TB, I assumed the TB belonged to that cacher. Would it be wrong of me to then remove the offending item? I know the standard answer would be to ask the TB owner, but then, the offender didn't ask the owner if it was OK to have someone else's name put on their TB in the first place. The way I see it the bug owner didn't ask for the added baggage. And may even not want added items that make the bug harder to fit into a cache. So the way I see it anything that isn't original bug is fair game. Sticking your label on a bug is almost like spraying graffiti on it. So in my opinion it's not cool to tag bugs like marked territory. Am I wrong? Jr Viper Team
  4. Maybe you could get a quote on a quantity for a group buy to help cut the cost. If you do a group buy please post and maybe you'll get enough buyers to make it a bit more cost effective. Get a qoute and see what you can get? I'll throw in if you can get a couple bucks off. Jr Viper Team
  5. Did anyone else look at the pics on his link? Why was that link posted here? Jr Viper Team
  6. We're really curious what exactly did you say in front of the whole crowd? Jr Viper Team
  7. Your idea is great but the cost is a bit higher than I would personally want to pay. Maybe it would be cheaper to take a Dremel and cut the serial number portion off a standard travel bug and use that. And while the Dremel is out a person could scribe a name for the bug on the flip side. I'm not knocking your idea. I really like it. I just don't want to pay that much. I'm kinda on a budget. I would be really pleased to find and pass on a bug of the type you have in mind. And I would say that would be much nicer to find than a hacked off TB dog tag. Jr Viper Team
  8. We went to a cache and didn't find it. After I logged it on geocache.com as a "not found" the cache owner contacted me. He asked for details where I looked. When I gave very specific details on where I searched he said "That's it!". He archived the cache so it could be relocated to a less publicly probed location. It's a good idea to keep spoilers off the log page. Jr Viper Team
