I fish from a kayak or canoe, sometimes using a Hummingbird SmartCast wireless fish finder. When I find a bunch of fish below, I'll mark a waypoint, then work my way back and forth over the school, or paddle back if I'm blown off the spot. The technique got me and my four-year-old son enough for dinner one evening.
