  1. Thanks for reporting.While the map tiles take a little longer than usual to load for me, I cannot reproduce them not loading at all.We will take another look.
  2. @KRON family The issue is exactly what the site says - both emails associated with your account have become unvalidated. That can happen when emails sent to you bounce too often. This has nothing to do with the issues described by the other players above. To resolve this just go to https://www.geocaching.com/account/settings/emailpreferences and validate your emails again.

  5. @barefootjeff As the reports came over the holiday break and code freezes, there were some natural delays. Currently, the bug remains in the backlog. It was increased in priority a couple days ago and we are also looking forward to it being resolved. I don't believe that removing functionality that was only added back in October 2020 is a very effective and feasible suggestion. No need to bump threads. If there is anything new to report we will let you know without additional reminders. Thank you for your patience.
  6. Are you running the CacheTur Assistant script? If so try disabling it. It caused similar issues for other players.
  7. @Beanercacher After clicking through to the log page, you can just select the appropriate log type from the drop down menu. You are not tied to the default selection.

  12. At the time Community Celebration Events were released, it was announced that the "Lost and Found" attribute would not return. Please refer to the respective posts on our blog for more details.
  13. The automation currently does not differentiate between cache types so this is not a bug. I will look into excluding Community Celebration Events going forward because of the extended timeline. At the same time it is your responsibility as a cache owner to keep listings from falling into this automation, too. You can do that by editing the listing and or posting logs on it.

  16. Wenn deutsche Reviewer jemanden an Appeals verweisen, dann beinhaltet der entsprechende Textblock bei vielen auch, dass dies auch auf Deutsch möglich ist. Sonst hat @GerandKat was Appeals ist sehr gut zusammengefasst. Im Appeals-Team gibt es neben mir einen weiteren deutschen Muttersprachler und im HQ insgesamt sind es fünf Muttersprachler und drei amerikanische Kollegen die ebenfalls fließend Deutsch sprechen. Als abschließender kurzer Denkanstoß: Geocaching ist am Ende des Tages immer noch ein Spiel. Wenn dies bei mir für so viel Frust und Bitterkeit sorgen würde, wie es dies bei einigen Personen hier zu tun scheint, dann hätte ich daraus schon lange meine Schlüsse gezogen.
  17. Forum-Meinungen werden dir bei der Review deines Caches wenig weiterhelfen. Wenn du mit deiner Meinung deines Reviewers nicht übereinstimmst, ist deine beste Möglichkeit einen Appeal einzureichen.
  18. @mr.bandit Ich schlage vor du bemühst die Suchmaschine deiner Wahl mit "Geocaching Wiki [Bundesland deiner Wahl]". Damit solltest du auf das regionale Wiki für das jeweilige Bundesland kommen, wo die lokalen Reviewer alle COVID-relevanten Informationen gesammelt haben - auch zum Thema Events.
  19. Another option is that you accidentally switched on some automated translation through your browser that overrides whatever language you choose on the website.
  20. Community Celebration Events are their own category in a way and are not covered by all filter functions across the website. For example you cannot remove them from the Browse Map but you can from the Search Map. My understanding is that PQ previous use the Browse Map so this would be expected behavior. Because of the limited release window of Community Celebration Events, even with their COVID related extension, the are currently no plans to address the above map issues.
