  1. I'm not trying to enhance the cache page at all. It is a mystery cache and the HTML is part of the puzzle. I can get the marquees to display on the cache page they just don't do the same thing they do when opened regularly. I've tailored the puzzle a little to make do with what it's giving me. Thanks for the input.
  2. I'm having a little problem creating a cache page. I have an HTML page done that works fine when viewed in a normal browser, however, when I copy and paste it into the cache description block and view the cache page it doesn't work right. Specifically, there are a lot of marquees in the HTML which are suppose to scroll downward, but on the cache page they scroll left instead. The "HTML box" is checked in the cache form. I'm wondering also if there is a way to just attach the HTML file on my computer into the cache page? I'm pretty new to messing with HTML so please dumb it down as much as possible for me!
  3. Along with posting the combination on the cache page. I would also include the combo in the "hint". I have found a few caches that I didn't read the page on, got there and realized it had a lock. But luckily the combo was in the hint, which was on my GPSr. I like the idea of having the combo on a nearby sign, making it a mystery cache.
  4. I have a question that I couldn't find the answer to on here yet. Maybe a dumb question but I've got to ask anyways. Can I order a trackable geocoin from someone other than those on the list of dealers that GC.com gives out? If so, how do you know what tracking number to put on it. Can you get a tracking number before the coin is made and then just have it put on there? Your help is appreciated.
  5. Has anyone ordered one of these from the US? I would like to order one but once I get to the "Proceed To Cart" part it puts it in German. Also the price is in Euros can I still pay with USD? Sorry if these are dumb questions, I've never ordered anything from Europe online before. Your help is appreciated.
  6. Good point. I never did get a reason why. Thanks everyone for their responses. Hopefully it doesn't get deleted this time. I know that one cache doesn't make much difference but it's the principal of the matter. Thanks again.
  7. Yes.. I received an email when my log was deleted.
  8. I am a fairly experienced cacher and have over 500 finds. This is the first time that this has happened to me. While visiting family in Florida, I came across a cache that has a rather high terrain rating, 4.5. I enjoy challenges so of course went and got it. It was a pretty good climb into a tree, but being an avid rock climber, it wasn't to difficult. After about a month, my post was deleted and there was a note on the cache page about another person not having a picture to prove his climb. A picture is not required by the cache description and I most definitely signed the log. I emailed the cache owner, got no response. So today, I re-logged my find dated Oct 4th (the day I made the find). If you'd like to see the cache page or see my re-log, the GC code is GC25NMX. I would appreciate any feedback on wether the owner, or myself, were out of line on this matter. Also who could I contact to have this problem resolved if they decide to delete it again? The local publisher? Thanks for your help.
