Depois do sucesso do anterior evento: Grândola 2013, desafiamos-vos para um fim-de-semana recheado de muitas aventuras, caminhadas, desafios, boa comida, e até boa gente!
O Alentejo por si só tem o seu charme, mas misturado com o Geocaching torna-se fantástico. O fim-de-semana aqui começa cedo e por isso na sexta-feira fazemos a montagem das tendas.
O espaço é cedido pela Junta de Freguesia de Santa Margarida da Serra, e totalmente gratuito com acesso a banhos quentes.
Tendas montadas, vamos jantar para reforçar as forças que serão necessárias para a animação nocturna. Sábado, o dia começa cedinho, e à hora marcada, estaremos na coordenada do ponto de encontro.
Sábado começaremos o dia com o CITO com a limpeza da vegetação na Barragem Pego de Moura. Depois a Aldeia de Vale Figueira espera por nós. Todos reunidos faremos o caminho de regresso por trilho, até Santa Margarida da Serra. No fim do dia um Workshop para esclarecer algumas dúvidas sobre geocaching. Depois dos banhos, espera por nós um petisco alentejano para o jantar. Para quem ainda tiver energia haverá animação nocturna
Domingo, não se atrasem pois temos muitos kms à nossa espera, o percurso que será feito será o PR1 - Rota da Serra onde teremos algumas subidas e muitas descidas para percorrer , e depois o Jantar, de encerramento, tão merecido e esperado depois da fantástica caminhada.

A litle bit of story about this geocoin and airpalne.
In 1977, the aerobatic team Asas de Portugal was created by order of the Air Force Chief of Staff (CEMFA), with the objective to represent the Portuguese Air Force (PoAF) at the International Air Tattoo air festival, being this new aerobatics team created 25 years later after having already existed previously two teams of this type during the 1950s — the Dragões (Dragons) and the São Jorge (Saint George) aerobatic patrols.
The demonstration patrol that operated the Cessna T-37C for 13 years while integrated with the 102 Squadron Panchos executed a total of 186 demonstrations, of which 40 were executed in international airshows. The restructure of the PoAF in the 1990s lead to the phase-out of the T-37 and to the interruption of the team's activities.
In 1997 the team was reactivated, being integrated with the 103 Squadron Caracóis and equipped with Alpha Jet aircraft, having a team of seven officer aviator pilots (PILAV) and a maintenance team. The first public appearance with the Alpha Jet was on June 27, 1997, at the commemorations of the 45th PoAF anniversary in Sintra.
In 1998, the display patrol was deactivated for logistics reasons.
By occasion of the 50th PoAF anniversary, in 2001, the responsibility to prepare an Alpha Jet aircraft flight demonstration to integrate the commemorations was given to the 103 Squadron. This resulted in the creation of a two-aircraft display team that represented Portugal with a 16-minute sequence of maneuvers in those commemorations, leading to the idea and plan of expanding the display.
In 2005, the Asas de Portugal were definitively reactivated, being once again integrated with the 103 Squadron, based at Beja Air Base – BA11.
The team was deactivated in 2010, before the start of the airshow season.

Ola, ate aqui usava para fazer geocaching um telemovel android, mas como o a bateria durava pouco, decidi comprar um Garmin Oregon 450.
So que a diferença de um para o outro é brutal, precisava de ajuda a configura-lo
colocar mapas etc!
Alguem com um oregon com disponibilidade pra dar uma ajudinha?

Ontem, 01 de Abril, aconteceu-nos um episódio muito insólito com o nosso cão e o seu trackable, e como é algo engraçado e diferente, decidimos partilhar a história...
Durante a tarde o nosso cão desapareceu, após o termos solto para brincar...
Como ele costuma ir para o meio do terreno brincar com o Zé não nos preocupamos muito.
Quando chegou a hora de jantar e o Geo não aparecia começamos a ficar preocupados... Decidimos jantar e dar o jantar ao Fraldinhas e depois iríamos dar uma volta pela zona a ver se o encontrávamos...
Entretanto recebemos um email com o seguinte log:
Quando o lemos não percebemos bem... só depois de uma segunda leitura é que percebemos que alguém tinha encontrado o Geo [
]Depois de ligar para o EUTENHOOSEUCÃO percebemos que o Geo não tinha ido muito longe...
Fomos buscar o Geo e percebemos que o casal que o encontrou não conhecia o Geocaching e que ainda demoraram algum tempo a perceber a mecânica do trackables... E assim o Geo sem saber iniciou um casal no Geocaching.
No fim tudo acabou bem e um trackable na coleira do Geo ajudou-o a regressar a casa...
