  2. Just ordered & Paypal'd for 2 LE & 3 Reg. Thanks
  3. I agree, in particular old "Grave yards" hold a lot of historic content for people involved with genealogy. Here in Ireland we have so many small, very old Cemeteries located in the most usual places that date back hundreds of years. I support this category.
  4. I'd like to thank Geoffv for looking after the following Travel Bugs for the last year, but alas it's time to let them go so other cachers might enjoy them as much as he has. If anyone knows of an "unemployed" trained hostage negotiator (free of charge too) please post details here in this tread. I'd like to get these TB's released in one piece if possible. I'm at my wits-end, I wrote to The Mirror, The Star, The Sun, The Irish Times, The New York Times, The Red Flag, Up-The-Worker and Fly Fishing Monthly, all to no avail, they're only interested in the gory stories "If it bleeds, It leads". So if anyone has any legal ideas on getting these TB's back into play, please feel free to impart your info. And yes, I did send an e-mail. 5. Paid for five coins in July via PayPal. Should I have received some sort of notification that the order was received, other than the one I received from PayPal? The BB's

  7. I try lose the Wife, but she keeps following me home. I'd be obliged if we can keep this a secret, Thanks.
  8. This message is now on the GC.com main page. I suppose it's a step in the right direction and should go someway to calm things down. Help Support Tsunami Relief Efforts All of us at Groundspeak are deeply saddened by the recent Tsunami disaster. We are inspired by the support offered by the Geocaching community. Here is a list of charitable organizations and resources that Google put together where you can help out. We sincerely encourage everyone to help support the victims of this tragedy.
  9. Hi Lance Ambu, we left the batteries and container in the cache. If you had said you needed batteries we would have given them to you in the car park, and saved us both, that long walk up the Mountain, and you know the story there, o2 break every three minutes, puff, puff, wheez and so on. We bought them in 7dayshop.com, a neat little item.
  10. Just how old is this "Old Git" anyway? The Wine, it's the Wine I'm talking about. So what's the chance of donating some "Finds" to the poor auld Bandits? Well done Paul! nice one. The BB's
  11. Spot on, that will do just fine. Thanks, The BB's
  12. What is the recommended minimum distance between caches (Regular ammo-box type)?
  13. Hey! you won't get better than that. Safe home to all.

  15. I lurk to learn! .... you can pick-up little gems of information from the Forum to enhance you Geocaching.
  16. I have just e-mailed the support people at GC.com with my suspicions about the TB Watch List. We’ll see how it pans out?
  17. I seem to have been a victim of this person's handy work. One of my TB's has not moved since it was removed from a cache in Ireland last year, zero miles logged. An un-logged counterfeit of my bug turned up in a cache in up-state NY. The Geocacher notified me of his find, but was unaware that it was not the real TB I released. After some e-mails and a photo we agreed to disposed of the Counterfeit Bug and post the real Bug as MIA. I have now received an e-mail from the person who originally found the Bug, that it remains in his possession and he will be dropping it off soon? (what's his hurry?, he only has it a year). There are two accounts watching this Bug, one of these I assume is the first finder, and the other I belive is the Counterfeiter looking to see if their handy work is moving around, causing problems or otherwise just been a nuisance. I suppose one way or another, this is just "another hazard" of the game?
